You might take a look at BM 234 "Crisp Khaki". I'd grab the strip with that one and the strips on either side. The historical pallette doesn't really work like a conventional pallette where you have strips with 6 colors on them-it's a bit more disjointed. It will be easier to find lighter/darker tones of a given shade in the classic colors pallette because of the way things are laid out.

So.... I am posting swatches but only because I know you guys are smart enough to know that it's a completely worthless endeavor to try to evaluate paint colors on any kind of illuminated device, like a monitor. Since they rely on the very small RGB color space to render colors, they literally are not able to render color like we see it in real life. The swatches are for reference only - everybody knows you have to get in real life chips. Spanish Sand has Delta E difference of 1.4 from Manchester Tan - which means it's a relatively small difference, but you're going to see a difference when comparing. HC-81 MANCHESTER TAN Benjamin Moore Classic Colors OR-W7U SPANISH SAND Behr Color Collection Lentil has a Delta E difference of 1.2 from Softer Tan - again, means you'll be able to tell the difference between the two colors. SW 6141 SOFTER TAN Sherwin Williams Color N270-2U LENTIL Behr Color Collection Those are the closest colors from Behr. Everything else in the Behr collection is a ways off with Delta E differences of 2 or more - which is a lot and not in the ballpark of being a decent match and therefore not really worth mentioning.

The different brands use different pigments to arrive at the *same* color. The two color samples may appear alike in a 2 dimensional way under the white light at the store, but put them on the walls and it's possible to look completely different. Often it doesn't matter that much. Good enough, as they say. Beiges are problematic. Grays are a big dice roll. I think it is SW that mixes color without a "gray" pigment. One of the majors does. Then there's greige. That's where you get the different undertones.

It is difficult to pick colors online - pictures look different on every monitor and every phone auto corrects color at some level. Looking at what you have I am fearful that the two colors you picked may be too green next to your carpet. I would look for something with a bit more warmth than the ones you picked, but It could just be my monitor. The way to test is to paint a few test boards. Here are some visuals that I created with excel. Again, every computer monitor is different and phones are programed to color correct, so computers suck for color evaluation. Chantilly lace is the most neutral white BM makes, so I threw that in so you can compare to neutral. Your carpet is a grayed down orange, which can have kind of pinkish undertones. Your wood is a more saturated orange. Greens and blues will bring out the orange and pink tones. Sand dollar looks good with your floors, but is way too pink next to the wood. Lambskin looks good with your wood, but is too clean next to the carpet. I like Maritime White and White Dove, but I am thinking that White Dove may be too white.
