On my way out the door to the "One of A Kind Craft Show" , it is really very special and has only top quality craftspersons.

To9morrow Sara comes for the weekend and she, Meredith and I will be baking Christmas Cookies for her Christmas Cookie boxes. Then it will be out for a girls dinner....no idea where.

Sunday I'm taking Sara Christmas shopping for her Dad and hopefully also getting her a Christmas outfit or two...Dad is useless in the fashion department but none the less the best Dad in the universe!

Howdy! Hey katiec what's a knee walker? We have a little sports bar out here called Boonies! hahaha Have fun!!

We're going to a xmas party tomorrow night at a friends house right here in the neighborhood. Should be fun. Hubs decorates our golf cart with xmas lites and even puts a lit up xmas tree on the roof of it! We look ridiculous going down the street but by now everyone expects us to arrive in that. So that's what we'll do! hahahaha!!!

A little sports bar in the boonies? Here that's called "Jim's Bucksnort Saloon". Yup, there is such a place, LOL. A knee walker? I don't know what that is either but if it gets DH up an around to help with the Christmas Carp.....um....stuff, it's a wonderful invention!

I'm on my way to Elery's tonight, his grandson Jackson is having his first birthday party tomorrow. Back on Sunday so I can work Monday, and so I don't have anything else planned except a 3 hour drive tonight, party on Saturday, 3 hour drive back on Sunday. LOL And Elery's driving, I'm riding shotgun with his dog on my lap!

I've got my last craft show of the year tomorrow-- if the weather cooperates & doesn't dump 8 in of snow up there overnight. And I really need to be out of the house tomorrow-- Doc & a couple of the boys are replacing the trapdoor/ladder stairway into the attic-- think if I'm away the whole day they'll clean up their mess ? yep that'll happen !!

Maybe I better save the "clinking " for tomorrow !

Tonight for dinner is BBQ Pork Ribs (done inside as it is too windy to grill), coleslaw and roasted fingerling potatoes.

Mom and I went out shopping today and had a great time. Tomorrow we are going to do some more shopping. I need a new winter parka and that is what will be her gift for me and I will greatly enjoy it especially since we will be in Illinois for Christmas this year - brrrrrr although we are cold in VA too. She told me that she bought a few other items for me already for my kitchen so I'm excited about that. I'm going to look for some new jeans (UGH!!!!) and tops too while out shopping.

Sunday my Mom, SIL, best friend and I are heading to one of my favorite stores Christmas Open House and I can't wait! After that we are going into Old Town to do a bit of walking around and the stores, then lunch. Leaves plenty of time for us to get back home to fix some food for dinner and watch the football game.

Wow, the week's zoomed away, and I just realized I had to check in at least for the TGIF thread.

Today the kids are continuing work on holiday cards for the troops, that will be delivered via the PitneyBowes/Red Cross project. The link is below, in case anyone wants to do the same.

Tomorrow is DH's birthday, when he begins his last year in the 40s, which comes as a shock, since he's been thinking all this time he was only 47. A big case of denial...I know it well, though, since I was born only 3 months after he was, but am only about 42, right? ;-)

Our oldest is making a special trip home from school before her finals to bake his favorite carrot cake and watch a James Bond movie with him, all after he gets home from having all our sons accompany him to the men's breakfast at church. Should be a dream bday for him.

Sunday I might start printing and mailing the Christmas letter I wrote earlier in the week, and maybe it's time to start some Christmas baking, too.

I'm going to try and finish up the Christmas shopping and work outside this weekend. Sunday will be baking a birthday cake and cooking dinner for my oldest son. His birthday was last week, but he was out of town so we're celebrating late.

I'll toast with a glass of blueberry brandy that I made last year.

OHHH I just remembered after reading rhome's post that I've got to bake some cookies to go in a care package for my youngest who'll be starting finals on Monday too! Better go crank up that oven now!!

TGIF everyone, I am clinking my medicine cup of Robetussin to all of you. I went to the Dr for Hudson and my 6 week check, and everything was okay. I have a sinus infection and both the boys, Hayden and Hudson have runny noses and are really congested, and the girls have been coughing and spitting up stuff. DH is also sick with the creeping crud as I call it. My mil came to the rescue and I loaded up the girls with their medicine and they are spending the weekend with grandpa and grandma. I am hoping to get over this quick, I have gallbladder surgery on Tuesday, just 6 weeks after a c-section. Not looking foreward to that but don't want to endure any more gallbladder attacks. So DH took the girls to meet his folks and supervise a b-ball game and the boys and I are hanging out at home in a decongestant and cough syrup haze lol.

Tonight I'm doing some prep for a dinner I'm hosting for DN tomorrow night. I'll also be watching the state high school 6A championship game on TV....both team are from Tulsa and are huge rivals. Tomorrow is family pictures then back to the house for dinner. Them more football..lol..big twelve game between OU and MO. Sunday will be doing some work for the office and attacking the huge piles of towels and sheets that I've aquired from all of my company the last several weeks...yuck!

Stacie, my goodness! Rest and get better! Too much going on at 6 wks postpartum, especially after a C-section. Wonderful that your kids have such helpful and able grandparents.

Oh well....I've been dealing with the crud going round so my days are getting away from me!!

Yesterday my dear saintly husband took the day off so we could go holiday shopping. We took a side trip to look at a few houses-the larger Vicky is looking more and more promising!!
My Mother is not returning my calls so I've been just biding my time hoping she comes around before the holidays.
She is just being stubborn and flexing her muscles. I am sure she is feeling badly...time will tell.

I showed the house this week-to an investor LOL!!
I also have a showing tonight too!!

You all know that DD has been working for the Philadelphia Eagles football team...she is working security and all income goes to her dance team...well today she is working the Army Navy game!!!
She is freezing her butt off but is enjoying all the HOT cadets!!! LOL!!!

Tomorrow is our get together at Alexas!! You will all have to wait to see how it goes LOL!!
