I did not get to go to the fall swap with my husband being in the hospital. I had set up trades and will bring them to the spring swap. Jill -- bring blue hosta for white amaryllis Susan -- bring cinnamon iris for variegated sedum Sharon -- bring Scheffelera, spider basket, bromeliad for decorated bowling ball Nelson -- Coreopsis and tropical from Michelle for blk iris Terry -- bring crocosmia & fern (RoseMary has the planters If I've forgotten anything promised please let me know. Deb, you mentioned something when we were at your house but I can't remember what it was!!!! Remind me so I can dig it for you. The only one I have set up so far for the spring swap is Nelson so please just let me know if any of you want something I have. I'm going to update the list later as I go through all the flower beds and check the shrubs. I want to bring rooted plants not cuttings. I'm already finding things I forgot about!!! Lynn

Hey guys,silvergold,he did fine today.No more poopsies,LOL. He seems alot happier too,and more lovable. Sorry for over-reacting.I tend to always think the worst about things.Sort of a defense mechanism. I was mostly just venting cuz I almost stepped right in it with bare feet,LOL. He is a great cat and a good friend,and I cant imagine my life without him. I'll let you all know if it happens again.But I think maybe it was just stuck to his butt or something.Anyways,he is due to a check up,so it couldnt hurt to ask the vet. Thanks for all your kindness! :)

There are lots of choices, you have the chance to look around. If this item is used mostly for web browsing and you don't make much use of Android apps, you may be happy with a chromebook PC. Input is with a keyboard rather than a touchscreen - a plus for some but not necessarily everyone. They're fast, light, inexpensive and easy to use. In the tablet world, nothing beats an iPad. My wife has one and loves it. I'm not an Apple fanboy at all but iPads are high quality products. Long battery life, long product life, great cameras (for video calls) and access to more apps than you'd ever want to use. No electronic product like a tablet can be expected to survive a drop to a hard floor (unless in a shock-proof case) but iPads are durable in normal use. I have some family members whose kids use an ipad that I think is over 6 years old. It's in a protective case and has had some bumps and grinds but it still works very well.

Accepted Answer, Best Answer, Most Upvoted, something similar might occasionally be okay on a few forums. (Computer Help, Tomato Pests and Diseases, etc.) I wouldn't think it would be useful on a discussion forum such as The Kitchen Table. Like Raven, I try to only use a gardenweb URL too, so personally, I haven't seen it. Occasionally, a bell notification will take me to a houzz URL, but I haven't seen it there either. Just a wild guess but maybe whether or not "Featured Answer" is shown depends on which domain the OP was on when they started the discussion? And maybe the bell notification link points to whichever domain the the person that did the reply/like was on when they caused the notification?

Looks like appliance forum, etc. have their pages. You can search and come up with the recent posts (in case, benjayva, you want to go back and copy some things.) So frustrating!

This just really infuriates me. I belong to several other hobby forums. This kind of crap NEVER happens at those sites. I know Gardenweb makes a ton of money from paid advertising so it is beyone me why they cannot keep the board up and running!! It seems to me that if volunteer web masters on other boards manage to keep a board running, that surely a paid one should be able to do it. This sort of thing seems to happen quite often here and it takes a long time to fix things. I'd just like to know why???? SO frustrating!!

No content here comes from the site owners--it's all user-written. So pretty much any open forum could replace this one.

Ugh. I just replied to an older thread that I'd had bookmarked, but my new reply was not bumped up to the first page. I imagine they'll get this resolved soon; surely the GW techs are familiar with the forum tracking code glitches by now...

well, it looks like I should just concentrate on my upcoming cruise and get over to cruisecritic.com and enjoy the non-disappearing threads over there for awhile. See ya'll later when the site is working again!

I guess this will teach us to block the "green words".
