Either your pump is not pushing any water, (probably because it lost its prime) or you have a broken line somewhere. If its a broken line, let it run awhile. You will get a very wet spot. That's where the break is.

Hi Socks - I set it up myself...well, my six year old son and 12 year old daughter helped a bit...pretty easy. Now, I am definitely not as confident in my ability to get it to pop 'down'...we'll see... I am mostly concerned about squirrels and chipmunks, I think. They just tear into everything around these parts. One summer they used every singly seat cushion on my deck furniture chairs to pad their nests! I really despise them. Maybe they won't be interested in this (I hope). Not sure what to do to keep them away, really. So, I am trying to extend the amount of time I keep a bunch of my cacti and succulents outdoors, rather than jamming them into my sunroom this year. That way, I may try to segue them into a dark dormancy in my garage instead of the sunroom - giving them a deeper sleep perhaps AND freeing up growing space under HID lights in my sunroom. They just wouldn't get the same dry cold in the sunroom that I think I can give them with the greenhouse - maybe end up with better flowering next year, too? By the end of November, I think they will all be indoors somewhere - either garage or sunroom. Then, the snows come...seems so far away with 90s forecast all week for us ;-). Josh - I see what you mean...just hope it doesn't get overtaken by marauding banditos! T

I contacted HoneywellÂ.yet another company with tech support in India or some similar country. I have no problem with this so long as I can understand them and they can understand be. It was difficult to understand to say the least. I made my mind up after that call...no Honeywell stats for me! HereÂs why. I described my dilemma about needing to set the stat at least 4 degrees warmer than the temp I want for the stat to engage the heating system. I mentioned reading about similar complaints on the web. Surprisingly they said this was indeed normal. The stat has a +/- 2 degree threshold. I mentioned that our threshold of a definite 4 degrees AND not the package stated +/- 1 degree. She put me on hold and said my unit was functioning normally. I stated it was notÂits off by 4 degrees. I said if pop house temp is 68 and he sets it on 72 to get the heat to kick onÂ..will it warm the house to 70 or 72 degrees? She said I could learn to use by observing it and seeking a pattern. I said if I wanted to something that complicated I would have bought a digital one! She then said the digital ones have a +/-1 degree accuracy. I said why should I belive that, the package for the round one said the same thing!!! I then asked if they stood behind there products and I could trade it in for something else. After all that talk, she said Honeywell does not deal in returns and to take it back to where you bought or see if your installer will swap it out. I replied that the installer feels it is working as designed. She said it was. I said no wayÂits off by 4 degrees! What if the installer wanted to charge me to remove and install a new one? (Remember Pop paid $75 for the stat. ($25 - $30 at HD) It was then I started getting ÂWell you need to discuss that with them crap. If I had the time IÂd fight further but I think my solution is to by a Rite Temp or some other brand for $30 and hook it up. What good is a company if they false advertise a product right on the packaging, there are internet complaints going back to years and they continue to false advertise it AND their customer service reps are so familiar with the problem they need not even reference itÂthey know EXACTLY why you are calling when they get you on the phone only to tell that they product was built that way. IÂll take my business elsewhere.
