I am drawn to the dark grey nature's quartz.

Wow, mpg - that's a lot going on! But pretty. I don't know if it's just my prejudice for slate -- I just really love it, especially on floors, or whether I am weaving a credible aesthetic story to imagine the last option ties things together best. But I like that there are browns and greys in the slate flooring to tie in with all the rest.

I like the two darker grey floor tiles. They both make the wood appear richer.
When I scroll back to look at your slab, I like the dark grey quartz the best. It may be because it is the safer choice between the two.

I like the dark grey quartz. The travertine and slate seem to add a busyness that is not pleasing to my eye...but I'm no designer.

Choice #2

I like the light gray quartz and the travertine. I like the dark, but I think you will find that it shows a lot more dust, crumbs, ect.

I like both Natures Quartz samples with a slight preference for the darker because it is more grounding. But I usually go for simple solutions! The mottled patterns are just too bossy for me. What does your instinct tell you?

#2. I love it and am looking for something similar for my bathroom remodel. Who makes that tile? What wood/stain are your cabinets?

The dark grey quartz (# 2)

With your materials, I like #2 Dark Gray Nature's Quartz best. The Gray Tavertine-ish tile is gorgeous, but seems too busy with all of your other materials.

Same here:
Dark Gray quartz, followed by lighter gray quartz. I'd go for the least movement.

Thanks everyone! I didn't think it would so difficult to choose floor tile, wow! All the tiles I showed are porcelain by Surface Art. Individually, I prefer the travertine and slate look ones BUT I think we have so much going on in the kitchen that I think the two quartz-look ones (light grey & dark grey) are the better choices overall for our space. The problem is I wish there were an option that was halfway between the two grey colors! I do like how the dark quartz looks with our other choices, but am having trouble envisioning it in the entire space and am concerned it's dark enough that it would show every little speck and crumb. The light one seems a bit too light, and seems to tend to the blue side at some times of day. I'm heading back to the tile shop now to see if there's an in between option in another tile brand...

Linelle -- our cabinets are through a local shop. The name of the stain is "Late Harvest" (on rustic beech, it looks a lot like natural cherry color) and the paint is "shoji white". If you're in eastern WA / Idaho, let me know and I'll send more info about the shop.

I like the travertine and slate but it's hard to tell if it's too much movement. Have you looked at these in your home? I don't think I'd want a solid dark gray floor unless your home is very contemporary. Also, bring the tile samples to the granite slab. That should help you decide how much movement the granite can handle. You'll also want to know what the variation is of those tiles.

All your choices are wonderful but the back splashes choices and movement pattern is what draws me to two and three.

Husband says I have ADD so I always place my design choices on white paper or in your case a white plastic bag. This way I see all patterns and colors. I see green in one of the tile choices. . I love the lighter look of option one's backsplash and geometric pattern. How about swapping the back splash from option one to option two.?

I love option four but feel the design is masculine and strong .

All are great choices but which one makes you smile?

This will be a really cool kitchen with any of your choices.

I think the last two tiles are probably too busy with your granite. I like the Dark Grey Nature's Quartz best, but agree that a slightly lighter color might be better. Also, both of the Nature's Quartz colors seem to match your lighter counter sample, but the darker counter sample looks more brown and less grey. The darker sample actually looks like it matches color of the tile floor you are standing on in the photos. The Pale Grey Nature's Quartz looks too blue for your darker counter sample. Of course, this is just from your photos, in real life the colors might look different.
