I just took these a few minutes ago. She had a doctors appt this week; she's tall and slender. 23 3/4" tall and 10lbs, 8oz. She's doing really well. Starting to coo alot and smiles all the time. She's a good girl.

She is adorable. I love the little feet and am so happy when mothers don't cover them up. She looks like her brother!

What a sweet baby girl!

I agree with Vannie, she looks just like her brother in that picture. In the previous pictures, I thought she looked just like her daddy.

Will, thanks for your posting. Your gardens look fantastic all year round! Some comments to your pics: Picea omorika 'Tijn' Must be written as 'Peve Tijn' I guess you're aware of this info... Picea omorika 'Wodan' I've it listed as Picea omorika x Picea breweriana 'Wodan' This cross was made by the Wittbold-Mueller Nursery from Germany. Cunninghamia lanceilata 'Glauca' I see your specimen developed a leader. Now you can prune it's long side shoots away so the shape will be a nice pyramidal. Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Ellwood's White' Yep, your specimen does have several reversions. This can happen to every variegated plant, please get rid of those and prune them, otherwise the green parts will take over and in a few years the variegation will be disappaered... Pinus parviflora 'Tanima No Yuki' Must be written as 'Tanima-no-yuki'. Larix laricina 'Smurf' I never came across this one, please can you give us some background info about it? Is it a seedling selection or discovered as a witches' broom?

I am a little confused on this because in Carolyn's book, her recommendation for the size of the container for the first-and-final pot up seems tiny - "I transplant into plastic four-packs that have 2 inch cells", she says. Even if she is only starting seed 6 weeks before plant out, it seems like the plants would be extremely root bound by that time. ***** And that's the way I do it and so did all the commercial farmers in my area. And yes, they are very rootbound when they get put out and that's also the way I want it. And the roots are not as fragile and break as easily when transplanted as with seedlings that were potted up, which I've also done. I prefer seedlings that are about 6-9 inches tall to put out and yours aren't far from that already. So it's up to you what you want to do but if it were me I think I'd put your plants in as cool a place as you can right now and hold back on water and nutrients b'c in the next four weeks you're going to have huge plants as I see it. IN your MA zone 6 I think your last average frost date should be about May 1st, since in my zone 5 next door to you it's about May 15th, and I never plant out until about two weeks after last average frost,weather permitting, so for you that would mean planting out May 15th or so, so you'd have another month of growth on those plants. Another thing you might consider is taking some lateral branch, aka sucker, cuttings right now and I bet you'd have decent size plants in roughly a month, after hardening off. The quilt is so sweet, and probably just the thing she'll appreciate as she undergoes therapy. Oh, how I daydream sometimes of just having the house to myself - being a hermit wouldn't be all bad, I don't think. My husband retired a year ago - need I say more? (BTW, my DD has an eating disorder).

1) You don't necessarily have a leak based on a single board delaminating. It's certainly NOT the first thing I'd assume if I saw a delamination, especially without any other signs of moisture. Tap on the board lightly and see if you can hear a hollow sound extending down the piece. Sometimes an anomalous piece of core or veneer, or a manufacturing mistake can result in the veneer not being adhered to the core. The piece will need to be replaced and at that point the top veneer can be peeled off to inspect the adhesive layer. I had something exactly like this happen to one board on a Somerset job within the last year. 2) Recommendations on acclimation of engineered products vary across manufacturers. Quite a few don't address it at all, and some I've seen who do were in the 24 to 48 hour range. Since engineered wood doesn't move that much with normal humidity changes, I suspect that the intent is to allow it to come up to temperature. Being in Florida we don't have this issue but one might have it elsewhere. 3) Somerset uses the same type of Birch plywood other use and it's not a source of chipping or any other issue I can think of. 4) The tiny chips you have can be filled and Mohawk markers can be sourced to touch up any small worn corners or spots, though navigating their site to pick out the proper color is a challenge. 5) You should determine what made that double scratch and avoid sliding that item across the floor again. It might be possible to touch the scratches up with the Mohawk marker but deep scratches running perpendicular quite often require replacement. If a marker comes out too dark over the raw/torn wood, you can put a little clear sealer on it first (and allow it to dry) to avoid this issue. A lighter marker in the right color range is preferable to a darker marker since the lighter one can be used multiple times to reach the right depth of color.

She's adorable. I agree that she's a carbon copy of Grant...except it sounds like she's a better baby...????? (Not that he wasn't, but I seem to remember he had his moments there at the beginning...)

Jen wonders if you could post a picture of Grant at 9 weeks? No problem if you don't have time to, though, we know you're busy. We just both think you make wonderful kids.

Grant was over 13lbs at 9 weeks though so he was definitely more chunky.

Aw, thanks, Steph! It's hard to remember what he looked like as a baby, he's gotten so grown up! There are a lot of differences and a lot of similarities, but Camryn is so petite compared to her brother.

So sweet! I love the side by side!! It's funny how you can see Grant's face now in that baby pic!

Steph-you have to watch out for the little girls. Katie is pretty thin too (15% for weight) but tall. She was able to do everything faster, since she didn't have all that chub slowing her down! She was rolling, crawling and walking faster. Plus Camryn will have Grant to show her the ropes!
