Got up earlier than usual to take friend for her chemo. After she was finished and I took her home, I was starved and stopped by Superior Grill for a yummy tamale!

Been napping rest of afternoon cause it's so windy and cold.

I played bridge today and was freezing all day despite the fact I was dressed warmly. Usually when we return from Florida, the temps are in the 60's but right now it's 38. Brrrr. We will have some kind of soup tonight. I still have some corn chowder left over or I may hit the freezer for some other kind of soup. One way or another, soup sounds comforting right now.

I had turkey salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes/gravy, and creamed corn. I forgot the salad I had made up in the refrigerator till after I'd eaten.

A great deal of the 5" of snow I got last night is melted. That's the one good thing about a late March snow, it's usually gone pretty quickly. But it makes itself known while getting here. I looked outside in middle of the night and it looked very much like a blizzard.

We received around 8 inches of show so we are having broccoli cheddar soup..Soup is always good on cold snowy day!!! So much for Spring!!

Glenda, I'm glad all went well with taking your friend for chemo. I bet you were hungry after sitting so long. When it comes your turn again, you might want to take a snack--and a good book.

We ,as usual ,hardly got any snow. I'm having roast chicken, roast potatoes, onions and carrots and grilled asparagus.

Due to differing schedules, DH & I ate separately. He was hungry & picked up something for himself on the way home. When I got home, he asked if he could fix something for me. I just finished my Eggs Benedict. I'll probably have some yogurt with fruit later.

I have oven fry pork chops in the oven along with some Brussels sprouts in olive oil and balsamic vinegar sprinkled with grated Parmesean cheese oven roasting.

we had "dipped" pizza....had a crust i cut into wedges,and dh heated, and used a doctored sauce (added ground beef and the grated cheese) added some salad and we're full!maybe dh will make rootbeer floats for dessert...we use sugarfree vanilla dn diet a&w....

Nice green salad and some canned peaches. Time to lay off the junk and get my system back in order. Too many sweets, too many big portions.

Did the two milk walk with Leslie Sansone tonight and almost didnt' make it. ha. Usually I can do the one mile pretty well but the two is a killer for me and it's only 30min.

Tonight is "clean out the fridge " night. Carrots, potatoes, baked chicken, chicken sausage, tomatoes, green beans and a few smidgens of other yummy things all combined with chicken broth. We called it soup and served it with garlic bread. It was delicious!

Chicken marsala (with a dash of sage in the sauce) and cappellini. I really wanted something green, but there was nothing in the house! I will stop on the way home. Much better (and more filling) than the fudge pie that I had on Sunday.
