My ivy leafed small light blue morning glories bloomed first and got to about four foot tall. The Early morning, or tall mix got tallest at about ten foot and bloomed much later. Because they needed to be sown after frost I didn't see a lot of difference between my direct sown and winter sown. I didn't use the best soil though and my drainage was bad. This year I'm doing more and will be direct sowing for ease of planting out.

nickel_kg - I used to have a garter snake who lived here for three years, from a baby about 8 inches long to a big boy about 5 feet long. I don't know what happened to Henry. Hopefully, he just found happier hunting grounds and a mate. When he was little, he liked hanging out in my potted plants, and he'd scare the beejeezus out of me when I went to work on them, but he was never aggressive.

We got 4-5 inches. The west side of the state gets way more than us. Snowing now, I think we are supposed to get 1-3 today. DH just left, he has a 2 hour drive to the doctors! I took my friend to doctors yesterday, and that was a 2 hour drive too.
