So for the corner bed in the this picture, I have been looking for some with a green/gold hue to put right in the center, something looks like a "skylands" or perhaps something like Picea abies Aurea Jacobson? Want something that will be mounded/broadly conical but not too large obviously so that it overshadows everything else or outgrows the bed too quickly. The bed itself is larger than the picture seems to indicate. I can get skylands locally but worried about the fact that it eventually gets very large and may burn. The bed itself is eastern exposure and gets full sun till about 3-4pm when the upright junipers give shade. The other option is a smaller Japanese maple but would prefer an evergreen.

Thanks. Yes, Blonde is used in the highest part of the trey, the lower part is Ivoire. I thought they'd be darker than they are, so I need to go further down the strip to get a GOLD on the ceiling. The trim color is a creamy white: SW Dover White. My other "color" in the house is a pumpkin-y color called Basque Brown (old Duron color). None of my pics of it show it well, so I didn't post it. I'll try again under different lighting conditions. These colors: eggplant, earthy green, and "pumpkin" were all accent colors in my last house with was entirely a soft gray. This time we decided to use the Blonde as the over-all color and then paint individual rooms too (we were too afraid of multi-colors in the last house...then I found this forum). I'd like the eggplant to be a bit darker, too, but we were also afraid the Walnut wouldn't show up as well when we were first picking colors. There's someone on the forum who painted a room (or wall; I think in the basement) in the next color down from Soulmate and posted a pic of it.

Hey Red! I tried BM Silver Fox in my kitchen and w/ it's low light and silver small appliances it looked to purple to me. So sad! Wait till you see what's going on my LR walls.... I've lived w/ the Revere Pewter sample in it for almost a year now and I finally made a decision. I'm sorry that the SW Requisite Gray didn't work - I'm happy to hear that you think it's a beautiful color though. I am actually re-painting our MBR Requisite Gray after somebody e-mailed me asking to use a pic of our MBR on a web-site. I panicked - how could I say yes? Was it the picture from when it was blue, blue, gray, green, white, blue or what?! Turned out it was the pic from when it was Requisite Gray. I sighed and my heart fluttered when I saw the pic all over again so I decided to do it again and leave it. I peeked at the Gray Owl more than once for DD's room. Good louck w/ your decision! Oh! I'm currently looking at BM Kendall Charcoal for a kitchen built in (to look like furniture) and Chelsea Gray or something for the upper portion of DR w/ SW Highland White below. But who knows - last week th eupper portion was going to be BM Polo Blue and before that MS Thunderhead (a gray).

I have one room in my house (1920s bungalow) that still has all its stained wood trim. If I can give one bit of advice it is the dark trim is going to make your paint look way different then it looks with white. This yellow I really loved in another room with white trim. In here it looked like Velveeta cheese. Here is the only picture of it I could find (It only lasted a year) I finally settled on an off white. I'm not a big fan of white rooms but I can live with this:
