Little Free Libraries

NBC news last night had a feature on "little free libraries"--a concept that's becoming popular across the country. People erect wooden boxes on poles, with a door (sometimes glass-paned) and sometimes shelving inside, often made from reclaimed materials. Each bears a sign inviting people to take (and eventually return) a book. They're utterly charming! If I were a woodworker I'd be hard at work this minute building myself a little free library.

Has any of you seen these in person? Tempted to do one yourself?
