BM Silken Pine or other light greenish neutral color suggestions

Has anyone used BM Silken Pine or Hint of Mint? I want something neutral and light but with a hint of color, ideally green. Any other suggestions (with photos ideally, it really helps me to see a full room done in a paint color instead of just a chip)?

I'm leaning towards Silken Pine for my foyer and hallways. Most of the stairwells and the foyer don't get a lot of light so I don't want a dark color. The foyer opens into my living room which is Saybrook Sage so it needs to work with that green. I like blues too but haven't found a blue light and neutral enough for this area. All my floors are tan and the stairs have light maple wood, gray didn't look very good against it.

The foyer is currently a yellowish cream which is okay, I like the lightness of it but I'd rather have something that's not so yellow. It was builder's flat paint which just isn't scrubable. I want to repaint in an eggshell so I can clean my walls even if it stays very similar in color. Here's the foyer (ignore the drapes, they have already been removed and aren't coming back):

I guess no one's tried those. I'll just try some samples. The online color viewer isn't very helpful with these light colors, they all look the same on the computer monitor.

I saw a picture online on House Beautiful under one of the articles on color. they also said bm coastal fog is in the same range. I really dont remember which article I just jotted down the 2 colors so i would look up the colors in my fan deck. Both struck me as very light grey-greens. good luck!

Great idea! I just sent the suggestion to Ben Moore. I told them they should release an industrial chic line with drywall greige as the star and the whole thing inspired by the building blocks of construction like raw pine and marine blue steel. They probably won't hire me based on a rando email to their 'contact us' account however ;) I'm set for French canvas and should be seeing the results today. My flooring came in (that was a nailbiter after the blizzard last week) and cabs are ordered. Happy lady right here!

As to choosing a particular white, I chose one that went nicely with our granite counters. We started our reno in the kitchen, and it was the door trim close to the counters that I was concerned with at the time. I dropped a whole bunch of BM paint chips on the counter and had a good look. In our case, the Bavarian Cream was a clear winner next to our Kashmir Gold granite. The project later morphed into a whole house reno, and our white looked good throughout, so that's what we kept using. Our walls are mostly blues on the gray side and grays with blue undertones. One bedroom is Dove Wing, which is nearly white, because a huge leafy tree outside that window gives a green glow to the room. A year later, we're painting our bedroom doors and trim Bavarian Cream and we like it very much. The room door, plus the closet and bathroom doors are outside being painted by DH as I type. I expect I'll get roped into painting trim any moment now, buy hey, I've done more than my fair share of painting over the last year. When these doors are done, we'll be finished with the house! Ellendi, pick up Sherwin William's Whites and Lights brochure. It has paint samples of about fifty colors, categorized into cool and warm whites. The undertones are pretty easy to see. Maison Blanche is warm and looks like it has gold undertones, maybe even a touch of green, in comparison to the other colors in the brochure. However, it has a definite red undertone on the SW website. But I've found that none of the paint chips from the BM or SW websites that get posted here look anything like the real color.

Choosing a paint color from someone else's photo is really not easy since lighting is so tricky in photos. This is still a work in progress. Top photo is Natural Linen wall with SW Pure White woodwork. In my photo it looks to have a pinky cast; this isn't the case in person. The wall with the samples is SW Natural Linen on upper left, SW Divine White lower left, and SW Nacre (definitely has a greenish cast) on the right. I was also looking for another shade just a tad lighter than the Natural Linen, and Divine White (obviously, not at all a white) is perfect.

If you like blue check out BM Sterling; I used it on a powder room that is literally too small to photograph! But it's a light grayish blue that reads perfectly in a room w/o much natural light.

I'm not sure I'd like Silken Pine next to your Saybrook Sage room, unless you really love green. I'd like to see a little contrast, with a blue or maybe a cream/tan that is not at all yellowy. Dunmore Cream and ***something? Silk (someone here will know the one I'm thinking of) come to mind as creams with greenish undertones.

I think I would use a soft neutral white. I use a color called Navy Bean. It's a white. Don't let the name fool you.. it goes with everything that's what I have my foyer. Give it a try it's a valsper color I found it home Depot a long time ago.
