Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm glad if our project can help anyone else with theirs because I know that it can be nervewracking. Here are some answers to some more questions. @ suero - not sure why your suction cup won't stick. Is your tile smooth or porous? Make sure its not on a grout line and that its a little wet. @ desertsteph - the door makes a little noise but nothing too intrusive. I found a kit where the wheels are actually a type of nylon, which are supposed to be quieter than steel, but the track is steel so it does make a little noise. It rolls pretty smooth, but it can get a little stuck, but nothing too bad and not enough for us to regret it at all. @ sochi - the barn door is just a simple single panel, shaker-style wood door. Its the same as our closet doors, but bigger. We had our contractor cut some mdf strips to make the design, then it was caulked and painted. The track hardware is from rusticahardware.com. We thank it came out great. However, I can't take 100% credit for it. I had the design in my head but I was trolling around the internet looking at others who created barn doors and I came across Catskill Farms Real Estate (linked below). They use a lot of barn doors in their homes and it was like they had created exactly what I had in my head. Up to this point I kept going back and forth on doing a barn door or not, but once I saw their homes I was determined to use this element in our project. I highly recommend checking out their site and take a look at the homes they create for inspiration. I am so jealous of your room size, it looks to be the size of about half my home! :-) I personally feel the windows on each side of your bed look too small, too high and out of place, almost like they were afterthoughts, which is why I suggested putting drapes up. Just one or two full-length (floor to ceiling) panels to hide the windows completely. That will give the illusion there are larger windows there while framing the bed. Even something more contemporary might work like rattan or wood shades as long as they go to the floor. Jodi-

nutmegxo- I have the embroidered coverlet and a duvet cover whiched I alternate using for my main covering and the euro shams also in the embroidered pattern. My dust ruffle is the satin in champagne, but I will honestly tell you, I did not like the way the dust ruffles are attached. They are attached by a strange type of straight pin which were very difficult to attach. Not only that but the part that was attached to the box spring, tore in several places. The dust ruffles themselves are beautiful, but they way they are attached is not a good idea. Even velcrow would be better. The wallpaper that I was looking at was F&B and the minimum order is 3 rolls, making the price around 900.00. Way too much for one wall! I love yours and may start looking again. It really does make a statement! I love the direction you are going and the color is great!

Can someone please tell me how it got to be July 7th? I never thought a month could go by so fast! Anyway.. I was able to find an adorable upholstered headboard at Target! Color choices were limited, but they had one called Khaki, which sounded promising given my khaki skirt and walls. Unfortunately, their Khaki was much pinker than mine.. so I changed out the bedskirt to another target Taupe.. I think it looks decent, what do you all think? And, while I was at Target, I foung this cute black and white/cream quilt.. thought I would see how that looked.. and I like that as well! Before I go with it, and buy more black accents (such as table topper, curtains, etc.. I thought I would ask you all your opinions please? (I moved the black chest over as Les suggested, but I can't move the bed any further to the left due to the light switch placement.) Thanks for your suggestions!!
