Good Evening, I've had a busy day today. I did weigh this morning, but it isn't pretty. We'll discuss that later. Way To Go, Ivamae!! WOO HOO!! Congrats on the silver scale award. Even though I had terrible numbers this week, I was downloading/uploading ( I'm so computer dumb I'm not sure which you call it) pics from my camera to my computer today and there was one of me holding the newest Grandson. I could see that I had lost weight. I think that may give me the incentive to get back in the swing and finish what I started. Ek, I wish you good health and safety while you are gone. You can tell us all about it when you get back. Jas, You just gave me an excuse for my bad numbers this week!! I had a very bad 'charlie horse' in my calf muscle day before yesterday morning. So bad that it woke me from a deep sleep hurting like crazy. So, I know I'm low on potassium. I couldn't keep that excess weight at bay!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!! LOL Helen, I saved you for last because we were so close in our weight. You are doing so well and I'm proud of you. But, I think you need to give me a stern talking to. Not only did I not lose any weight this week, but I gained a significant amount. It is one thing to just hit a plateau for a week or 2, but I've been eating the wrong things all week and the scales show it. Last week I fell off of the wagon with chocolate ice cream several times. Then, friday I had chinese for lunch with my daughter. Then my son decided that night when we went school-clothes shopping that he wanted to eat chinese. So, Chubby-Butt here ate it TWO TIMES IN ONE DAY!!!! Saturday was a baby shower at 2pm (various snacks, a chocolate bon-bon AND a slice of cake)and an anniversary party at 7pm ( dinner AND a slice of coconut pie). OK, I've put it off as long as I can. My weight this morning: 163 pounds. If there was a 'broken scale award' I would win it this week. Betty

Congratulations! My neighbor just had a new baby Wednesday and my niece is expecting in June - babies are a poppin! This will be the first "great" grandchild on my side of the family - there are 5 on hubby's side already. My mom is the only grandparent left and she's very excited about being a great grandmother. My neice and my two kids are the only grandchildren on my side of the family as well, so this is a treat. My kids aren't even close to settling down so this will be the only baby for a while!! Spring is a wonderful time to have a baby as well! Enjoy her! I'm going to try to get a little done in the yard tomorrow if the weather cooperates. It's still too cold to get anything done besides cleaning up leaves and stuff, but that has to be done as well. I'm making a huge new veggie bed this year so I have to get going and get as much done as I can, when I can! I might have bitten off more than I can chew with all the seeds I have going, but I guess I'll soon find out! My girlfriend is coming over tomorrow night to fix some jewelry - I have lots of bits and bobs for jewelry making. I want to make some bread in the morning, get some done in the yard, then get back in the house to make dinner for when she comes over. I made some home made mushroom ravioli at Christmastime and I've yet to actually have any. That's what I plan on having for dinner. It's going to pour out Sunday, so I'll probably work on the scrapbook my SIL asked me to do up for my niece's baby shower. I've never worked on one before, but it's coming out nice considering I'm just fumbling my way thru! It's amazing the stuff they have for that now - I ended up buying a couple books and plan on re-doing the books I made for my own kids who are now 21 and 19! I just had photo albums stuffed with all their baby stuff. They have so many cute things now, even tho they're adults I still want to re-do them just to have for myself! Lisa

Spicy Chicken Patties 1 cup bread crumbs... 1 pound chicken (skinless boneless breasts) processed 1/4 cup chopped chives (I used dry) 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning (next time I'll use a bit more) 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 large eggs Make into patties, cook in oil it said 7 mins on each side or until done Sauce 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise 2 teaspoons horseradish 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/8 teaspoon salt (I doubled.
