I am making chicken and dressing but currently have a breakfast casserole in the oven cooking so I can just take some to go this week. It's really quick and delicious!

Ribs, baked sweet potato and asparagus. We've been getting the best sweet potatoes lately.

I don't even know what we're having for lunch, dinner is no better. I'm hoping to be inspired here. Sweet potatos sound good but I'm the only one who loves them. The weather is pretty good out, we might have to start the grill.

BBQ ribs cooked all day in the slow cooker. Mashed potatoes, veggie(?), salad, rolls and fresh baked berry pie for dessert.

Beef Stew! I started it about 11-ish. We will either have Pillsbury biscuits or dumplings not sure which yet.
We have 7 Layer bars and coconut cupcakes for dessert if anyone wants it.

Clare, I have my ribs in the slow cooker, too. They sure are smelling good!! Wish I could bake something for dessert, but it's 83 degrees outside and I'd have to turn on the air. Decided to bake the sweet potato in the microwave.

I had a surf and turf burger topped with onion straws and roumelade sauce. Yumster!

We had Mac and cheese with hamburger and egg rolls.. imagine that. :O)

Hamburger pattie with cheese and grilled onions and bell peppers from the adjoining hospital's cafeteria, they had very little to offer today.

It's been cool and rainy here all weekend. All our outdoor kid activities were cancelled.

So I made chili.

I had a pimento cheese sandwich and bread & butter pickles. I'll eat something sweet later.

I'm trying new recipes and using up what's in my fridge. I made a Beef and Noodle Casserole. It's the homemade version of Hamburger Helper, but better. It was good and easy.

Tonight we ordered from the little Italian place. I had a meatball and cheese sub-it was yummy. Dh had a calzone. Last night we did baked Tilapia, rice and carrots/peas. Surprisingly good and fairly healthy.
