Love it - but at 4.5" it's too big of a keychain for my pocket, and probably dangerous in a GM. ;)

That is a total hoot! Reminds me of the cases of tobasco which were shipped off to a student in one of the blander countries in Europe. :) He would have loved those!

My guys (husband and son) LOVE their stockings - I find it harder to find small items for the guys (girls = easy for me, makeup items, hair ties, lip balm, small lotion, nail polish, etc). I usually stuff theirs with lip balm, beard pomade, gum, mints, candy and various other small items that tend to add up so I try to buy during the year. Funny story. I've been married for almost 28 years, about 3 years ago it finally occurred to my husband that as much as he enjoyed his stocking maybe he should be doing my stocking...better late than never.

For "books about young couples and their interactions," maybe something like Helen Hoang's The Bride Test? A vietnamese girl is invited to America for an arranged marriage, and the rest of the book is about the intended bride and groom sending mixed messages to each other while falling in love. Amusing enough that it kept me reading even though that type of book is not my usual fare. For romantic comedies of manners that are not contemporary, there's always Georgette Heyer.

I know not all guys are into candles -- but I have 2 who are. I picked up this candle earlier this season but it is on sale 30% off (at least today). It's 3" x 5" so will fit in many stockings. Under the Stars Canteen Candle (or on Sundance where it is on sale ..Test of Time Thermos Candle in "stars") I bought this one for the design which I think fits a college student. Other scents that have been popular with them.. Leather Mitt and Tobacco (which does not smell like cigarettes!)

We also have local bakeries, as well as local bakers who sell online. And And, don’t forget your local thrift, benevolent, and antique stores! Does your community have a ”shop local” boutique for local organizations to sell things? We do, with school, family welfare, hospital, garden club, conservation, historical society participating. Oh, check your local historical society! Books about the area, or buildings, etc, can be good gifts. Finding things for guys can be tricky, though. The historical society books can be good. Or Or, how about membership to a local organization, or tickets to a local theater production or an event?

There are mini bottles of Tabasco Sauce in MRE's (meals ready to eat) - available for $1 at the link below.

It reminds me of the British show "Pie in the Sky". Inspector Henry Crabbe cop/chef carries a tiny silver pepper mill in his pocket.
