Both Zappos and shoebuy.com are great. I got a better buy recently from shoebuy.com because I found a coupon. Zappos does not seem to like coupons. If it's your first time to register with shoebuy, they give you 10 percent off.

Amazon is the best. It's just great, and no sales tax either. Super Saver shipping for a $25 purchase is fabulous. I recently placed an order that would probably would have had $20+ shipping, and the shipping was free.

LL Bean has a good website, good service.

I shop QVC sometimes. Their website is pretty good, but shipping is a killer.

I got those packing cubes too. Thought they would be a waste of money, but actually they do help keep your suitcase organized. I like them a lot. ebags is a good place also.

How 'bout a "company" I just ***hate*** - our local cable service. Grrrr-rrr-rrr!

I love Doughmakers baking pans/sheets. USA made product, great product and reasonably priced for the quality you get.

As soon as I read the title Amazon.com came to mind. They're so accomodating. Plus I joined the Prime shipping program and I really am saving a lot.

Chadwicks used to be pretty good too, but their sizing is wishy-washy now.

I like my phone company! Our land line and internet service are provided by a small company based in Wisconsin. Their customer service is outstanding.

I also like the auto repair shop I use (luckily not very often!). They give accurate estimates and I never feel like they're ripping me off.

As far as online companies, I have to agree with Lands End. Their return policy is great, their products are comfortable and durable, and their prices are reasonable.

Also, a small company I found a few years ago: Freshpasta.com. Wonderful products (pasta, ravioli, sauces) delivered overnight, and their customer service is great.

I love Avon and Clearly Contacts. Receive great customer service from both companies and returns are handled easily. Shipping is about 4 days for Avon and overnight from Clearly Contacts.

I haven't ordered from this company in a few years because their product was good and I haven't needed to replace it,but I might this year. Dh and I have loved Pacific Coast and their down comforters and feather beds. They are so comfortable. I had a little bit of stitching come out of a comforter ten years ago. They replaced the comforter and sent me down around pillows for free. The customer service lady was awesome.

I adore Ace Hardware. The local one has wonderful helpful staff, is stocked well, and will order what you need if they don't have it (which happens very rarely). I thought that it was just our local store that was so great, but people my husband works with report that all the Ace Hardwares they shop at are the same.
I even take them Christmas cookies!

It is a product that I love.....3M command hooks. When we down-sized from a house with a big garage and basement, to an APT. These hooks have solved a lot of storage problems, and they can be removed or moved with out leaving a mark.

A company I dislike tremendously, is Charter cable company. That is one rinky-dink company, but is the only cable company in our area. Dottie

NETFLIX hands down. Sometimes I throw my movies back in the mail on a Saturday night and on Monday morning they are received them (how did they do that when there is no Sunday mail service??) And the same goes for my choices coming to me. I get the email and they are always ontime or early!!

Next would be Amazon. I really like both the new section, and the used options as well. They have always set the standard for customer service in my opinion.

I love L.L. Bean, Temecula Olive Oil Company and there are a few fabric online stores that are outstanding as well!

The older I get the more I shop online, so fair prices, low shipping (or free shipping) and good customer service is really important to me.

I'm lovin' our local newspaper. I only subscribed for the Thursday through Sunday paper, but they called and updated it to 7 days a week at no charge until my subscription runs out in November. Woo hoo!

On-line, I've never gotten a bad deal from Overstock.

Amazon is terrific.

I love ECCO shoes. The best, most comfortable...and their shoes last forever. Also, seem to be the only one left that makes all leather sneakers - no cloth or plastic.

Nordstrom...still believe in customer service, not just cashiers.

i love QVC simply for their ease of ordering, i already know how my size works in their brands and the customer service. i order Philosophy from them even thou i get freebies from the philosophy site. QVC carries large economy sizes of philosophy, often having easy pay or specials on them too. i once got a 32oz bottle of cleanser shipped that had leaked a tiny bit and they sent me a brand new bottle, not even wanting the one i already had and didn't charge me at all not even shipping :-0 that alone hooked me lol. i have also have some awesome jeans from them, i am petite and like bootcuts but have never found a pair that didn't need chopping off at the knee. it was a huge leap of faith but i always read the reviews from customers and i now only wear those jeans in 5 different colors lol.

nordstroms is a fav for actual store shopping, thou i rarely go there now. my DH wears a size 17 shoe and he can order something at the store and have it shipped home for free. ~ liz

One of my favorites is Sierra Trading Post. They sell a lot of outdoor gear and clothing, but also some classic stuff as well.

In their seasonal print catalogs, a challenging little riddle is buried somewhere in the text -- answer the riddle and you get free shipping. They also have email promos with extra X percent off and/or free shipping quite frequently.

I've been doing business with them since the early '90s, before they were online. I've had a couple of returns over the years, never any problem.

aside from the biggies? i do like the pharmacy at "my" target...they know me by name and are always helpful...i have a fave walmart and go out of my way to shop there than one slightly closer. did amazon over christmas (free shipping)dh goes to a smaller ace, he likes...

the company dh works for...they're paying our bills!

I love Costco, quality merchandise, credit returns policy, great prices. Also, I just joined NETFLIX, so far love it!

I L O V E, LOVE, love the bakery in Tulsa near where I used to live. AWESOME bread.

But company, I have to agree, ACE hardware store. Love it. Great service, good rewards system, and they are close by. ;)

Used to like co-operative stores, but they're mostly in Saskatchewan or distant (rural) areas around here, but mostly ag. supply stores. Hardly any that I know of around here.

An investment advisory that I've been using recommended the shares of NETFLIX a couple of months ago - says they have a great future. I'm passing on the suggestion without comment (as I know nothing about it).

For clothes, Lands End. For just about everything else, Amazon is where I go first. I have an Amazon credit card, and receive a pretty steady supply of gift cards as rewards. Plus I've always been super-satisfied with them.

Sometimes for electronics (mostly computer-related) I'll also check Newegg. They have great specials all the time, and you can search by Free Shipping if you want.

I've been delighted with the prints I've had made at Mpix. Uploading is a cinch, and the turnaround time is surprisingly speedy. Wonderful quality, reasonable prices.

I like Southwest Airlines. Never had a late flight with them. I also love my Credit Union. I detest Comcast for cable, phone & high speed, but we don't have any other options in my town.

Orvis has wonderful service. Examples include:
- a sale item in store not in my size. The clerk called SIX stores to find it for me, & that store was sending it the same day.
- another item was only available in the catalog, so she called catalog ordering, then handed me the store phone to finish the order. After, she reminded me if it wasn't right I could return it at the store rather than rewrapping & mailing.
- DH placed a catalog order for me. One item wasn't in stock, so they called stores to find if it was available, then CALLED me to tell me it was - only in one color.

I do also like Amazon.com very much. Their site is easy to use, prices are very good, & shipping is fast.

I love Amazon, Costco, Target and Neiman Marcus, love their Last Call sales! I can get great designer stuff for less than what I would pay for other stuff elsewhere. Great customer service, my cosmetics salesperson usually gives me more free stuff than I buy. I recently sent letters to her GM and the CEO complimenting her service.

another lover of Netflix here too...we've had them since Mar '05...have rented over 1200 movies and only 17 have been damaged and 5 never received or reported missing...that's pretty good record I think...

I love Kirklands...their not everywhere but I can always find something I long to have for the house...I've never had a bad sales clerk and their sales are excellent!!

Crate and Barrel - excellent customer service and delivery of my living room furniture. A pleasure to buy from them.
