White Dove vs Cloud White vs Simply White

I've narrowed my cabinet color down to these three BM colors. The problem is, I've looked at them so many times, that I cannot tell the difference! I am looking for a whiter white but definitely not stark white and not cream. My kitchen faces west, so lots of light in the afternoon, but not much any other time. How would you rank these in order from whitest to creamiest? (and feel free to throw other suggestions out there if I've missed something!)

I painted my cabinets last summer, my house faces south, so I get lots of sun too. I got samples of White Dove and 3 others that I cannot recall (probably what you mentioned or close). I did not like White Dove on the swatch at all, but I kept an open mind.

I painted all 4 on poster boards and looked at them for a few days and did a process of elimination. White Dove won!

I LOVE the way my cabinets look.....white without being stark, but no undertones.

I used Cabinet Coat paint from BM and they tinted it White Dove for me.

That is a great idea. I think I'll do the same. All these decisions!!!!! I feel like I'm losing my mind. Thanks for your help!

I would bring sample paint chips to where your slab is (paint chips or sample cabinet doors with your chosen paint on it). The lighting will most likely be different there than your home light, but it should give you a good idea of how the colors blend together. I would also try to get a sample of your slab and bring it home along with your sample paint chips/cabinet doors. I would not automatically paint your cabinets the color of your home doors and trim because unless you’ve matched up your slab to the color of your home trim, you could be making a huge mistake. It’s a lot easier to paint the trim in your kitchen to match up with your cabs and slab than to have to repaint your cabinets should you find that when the slab goes in there’s a terrible clash.

@Priya You just have to test. Acadia looks great in my Hawaii house and terrible in my Idaho house because Northern light is more yellow than at the equator. (I had to switch to Simply White in Idaho, which looks like Acadia in Hawaii.) When I needed a "white" for the exterior of my recent house I tested at least 10 colors to come up with the right one. Remember you really don't want a white outside because colors look way lighter outside. A white will be blinding. I ended up using BM Ancient Oak 940 which is is pretty close to the "almond" metal soffits, and on the house it looks white most of the time, at sunset caan look slightly yellow.

I was betwixt and between the same colors. Ordered samplize large samples of each. Decided on simply white everywhere - trim ceiling and walls and the results are stunning. Went with the Aura line - matte walls and satin trim and doors. Was worried about how it would look once up with our already installed white kitchen cabinets but this white is very forgiving. Definitely not too yellow (white dove was WAY to yellow). Even in low light and shadows the walls tur just the palest cream. Really lovely.

I know its old but.. In case this helps anyone, BM ”Snow on the Mountain” is the closest match to Kraftmaids Warm White.

Baileyandbella, do you have pictures of your BM white Dove Cabinets to share?I had spent hours and picked BM Cloud White but now I am having second thoughts since my other room has dark Brazilian Cherry Floors and BM Bone White walls with no much white but the baseboard trim. I am thinking a white not as white would look better but not too creamy since my new tiles do not look that great with creamy. I have decided to paint the cabinets and not get new cabinets for now and if I don't like the way the end up, I will save for new cabinets.
