White trim: Benjamin Moore (BM) White Dove vs. Cloud White

The walls of my new construction house have just been primed and the painter will be back in 2 - 3 weeks for final painting once the oak floors have been installed. Our current construction specs and budget call for all the wood trim throughout the house to be painted one shade of white. Having multiple trim colors (varying shades of white) would be an additional cost.

At this point, the walls of our open concept living room, dining area and kitchen are slated to be painted White Dove in a matte finish. I would describe this area as the "flagship" space of the house. The other rooms in the house will be mostly neutral colors (beige or greige) with the exception of a Southwest facing bedroom that will be painted in BM Quiet Moments while a Northwest facing bedroom that will be painted in BM Constellation.

Obviously, Dove White semi-gloss would work as a trim in the LR/DR/kitchen area as the walls in that area will also be White Dove. However, would White Dove be a suitable trim color in the other spaces? Conversely, would BM Cloud White be a good "contrasting" trim color for for the White Dove walls and a better trim color for the other rooms?

Am I splitting hairs and/or would both trim colors be okay? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
