Little People Big World - wood floor

I have enjoyed watching some episodes of the TV series Little People Big World. Recently, they did a house remodel and I really like the wood floor they put in. Does anyone know what wood species that is?

Oh, I know nothing about their floor but I relate to their life style. The TV series must be doing great to afford their life style these days and Amy remains so oblivious to all the high end additions... Yeah, right. (I still love them.)

We have the same granite. (We had it first~~~~)

I guess they used molave or other hard woods such as narra in their home settings, but it looks like more of a narra for me..

I'd like a little relief from doctors/hospitals hounding us about medical bills. My self-employed husband just underwent bypass surgery (SIX grafts) and a double aneurysm repair..saying all the time that we can't afford this..and yet it goes on and the doctors keep saying to come in for more tests..and the bills mount up and we can't pay them. No one seems to be listening. No insurance, of course..we are some of the working class who can't afford it. We are both receiving Social Security payments due to our age (he took early retirement due to other physical problems so no medicare) and I have a part-time job which gives me walking-around money for gasoline and the occasional purchase at the thrift store or consiginment shop. No, I'm not feeling sorry for myself, we are managing, and many others are worse off. I just wish for a respite from the daily arrival of bills we have no way to pay, and the insistence of doctors for tests they KNOW we can't pay for! Sorry for the vent..it just needed to come out and this was a convenient place to do it. I know many others are in much more dire straits than my husband and I..but thank your for listening and perhaps understanding.

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) - A judge has ruled that an Oregon reality TV show star was not guilty of driving drunk in June. Matt Roloff, star of the reality TV show ''Little People, Big World'' was on trial for supposedly driving impaired on the night of June 19. The jury got the case Wednesday and deliberated for three hours before heading home. But the judge learned that jurors had looked up legal terms on the Internet in violation of the judge's directions. Roloff then waived his right to a jury trial and petitioned the judge for a directed verdict. The judge told Roloff Thursday he was free to go home.

I just hope by sticking to our guns they learn that they need to plan ahead. I used to think the grandparents were okay, now I just think they are as selfish as their daughter! The guilt trip on sd really irritated me. Now this tamper tantrum over sd going to sports practice while they are here is almost as bad. As the kids get older they will only get busier and busier. So that family better learn how to communicate and make plans in advance or they will miss out on a lot of time with the kids.

I was simply asking if people here could help me indentify the table or give me some idea where I can find very similar stuff. As for the title, I think anyone with some sense of humour can tell I was just trying to be funny and grab some attention... but whatever... ***** to remodelfla: Thank you. But I still prefer a ready made one, partly because its not very easy to find all the DIY stuff here, partly because I am not very good at making stuff. I think I will have to hire a professional if I want to make one. And faux fur means artificial fur right? I called my mum today and she said it looked and touched like real cow fur, but she thought the black/white colour may not be natual. Will this make any difference in the making? ****** to rucnmom Thank you. golddust - What granite do you have? I've always liked their granite, but didn't know what it was. I've always admired their floors.

golddust - every time I see Bianco Romano, I wish I had chosen it : ) Your flooring looks great, too! I noticed it in the picture underneath that beautiful custom table. What kind of floor do you have?
I also really like your blue & white coffee, tea, etc. jars on your counter. They look vintage & very special.
