Thank you so much for all your birthday greetings. I had a nice day even if I did have to work yesterday. Rather than cook we went out to The Masthead Restaurant in Cowichan Bay for dinner. Sorry no pictures. The restaurant is dark and I would have had to use a flash which I hate doing. Moe started with scallops with a risotto and I had Cowichan Bay Duck Confit with Potato Gnocchi. Main courses were Duck breast for Moe and I had Beef Tenderloin with a Bearnaise sauce. Both meats were cooked medium rare. I'd like to tell you that dinner was wonderful but it was mediocre at best. Nothing terrible wrong with it but nothing exciting either. And service was sadly lacking too. Although to be fair they were busy with a couple of large tables. Moe said he could have had much better at home, which I guess is why we hardly ever go out for dinner. I heard from Matt yesterday and he is hoping to come up this weekend. Haven't seen him for a few weeks so we are looking forward to that. Thanks again. Ann

Jude: I almost caught up to you. Got me by one year.

We did the Birthday thing yesterday, because everyone was busy today.
Put some birthhday candles on a piece of Pumkin Pie.

My computer is acting up, so they all put some money towards a new one.
I wouldn't take it but they insisted . Guess it's the Calabrese ( Hardhead )acting up.
We went out and bought one at Walmart at 3 PM Friday.
Got it at the Black Friday price.
Can't wait to get it hooked up this week. This one is making me nuts.
