Indoor wicker or rattan dining chairs?

I think I like the look of these with my table. Thoughts? Links to ones that are comfortable or seem more suited to indoors? I have a fairly casual feel to my house and my table is pine, but I don't want too casual? It's the only pine piece I have but it's almost 20 years old and it's a great table I'd like to keep but I need chairs that have a different texture. I'm leaning toward this instead of all fabric ones, or perhaps fabric end chairs and rattan side chairs.

We considered getting rattan or dark wicker for vacation house we bought in FL recently.
The chairs we sat on--expensive at Haverty's and some local FL stores and less like at World Market or Pier 1 were frankly very uncomfortable...
the Tigris model at Crate and Barrel I liked because they have an upright back (I favor that vs slanted)
But we also though would have needed cushions on seats to make them sittable for more than 15 min or so--
not what we wanted in dining chair
I would suggest that the less definition on the weave, the more comfortable the chair ultimately...most newer styles show strong, heavy weave...
they can also creak when the strands rub together...
Maybe others have different response...

We also want something with lower back/height---and most of those rattan chairs are tall/Parson style...

Darn it! But thanks for responding. I had tried a couple that weren't very comfortable either. Back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll paint the chairs I have.

We had a version of those chairs when I was growing up. You can't hardly even get out of them, lol! Nice looking but beaucoup uncomfortable. At least ours were, ours didn't have the fan shaped curves in the back, it was straight rattan all the way, but same shape. We also have one like TR posted from World Market, except in metal. That one is pretty nice. I like all those other rattan/bamboo/wicker whatever ones, but if you think they are too narrow, that's your prerogative! :)

We had a very nice set in our sunroom. It was 2 regular rocking chairs and 2 swivel rockers, a small table and a storage bench. It came with good reversible cushions. I love to rock and enjoyed sitting in them. I would love to have that set again for our sunroom here in the new house. Of course we lost it all in the flood. My grandparents had several sets of wicker in the big country house so I grew up with it. I inherited a set of theirs, it was very very old and well used. We bought some rattan bar stools from Pier 1. My mother bought wicker chairs for her breakfast nook at Pier 1. We were able to sit in them and try them out before we purchased. Your chair above is available at my local Pier 1 for $99, so perhaps you can check with a local store and try it out.
