Sun is shining and it is -2º, so still cold, but promises of warmth with that golden orb doing its business. Have to take the car in for oil change and some mechanical thing checked out, but no great plans ahead.

Good Morning, from northern Indiana!
No sunshine here. Another grey day, but our snow is melting and that in it's self is cause for celebration!

I have some laundry to do and some bills to pay.

Sue, I'm so glad that Draino was able to clear things up!

Marry, thanks for mentioning laundry, cause I put my sheets in the wash about two hours ago and forgot about them. Guess I better get on down to the basement and throw them in the dryer!!! I hope this doesn't indicate what the rest of the day is going to be like!! :)

It's about 20 here in Iowa and the sun is shining. We have had sun for the last few days and that helps to melt some of the snow. I need to do laundry today and clean the kitchen.

For once it's NOT snowing here in my part of Ohio! So even though it's very overcast, I'm happy. It's 33° and the ground is soft under the snow so it's starting to melt pretty good. It will take a while to get rid of the 12 to 14 inches we got last week, as it sits upon the huge amount there previously. I have some paperwork to do but don't know what else I'll be doing today.

Raining here in FTW Texas. Just got back from taking #1 dog to the groomers. She has that kind of fur that matts terribly. If I bathe her, it makes it even worse. Brandy our pup has very sleek shiny fur and loves to be brushed so she is no problem.
Just going to hunker down and do some housework, having company in tomorrow...

About washing dogs beore being combed out...never do it. The washing only makes the matts impossible to get out. So always brush out before bathing.I leave that chore to the groomers as well.
We have NO snow on the ground here in Ma. lucky us...cannot wait for spring, and the temps today are getting up to around 40...lookin good.

I know the pain of dogs with matting fur. I have a Wheaten Terrier. When her fur gets a certain length,it all curls into matts, no matter how much I brush and comb her. A job only a professional groomer can do. Every 3 weeks.

Good afternoon from east central Indiana.

Hi there majaco!

Sue

I had breakfast in town and then went to San Antonio for chemo. It's an hour drive for me. I just got home 30 minutes ago. It's a lovely day today. It's 60° right now and supposed to reach 65° for a high.
I'm reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It's our GRINS book club selection for March. It's making me want to visit Savannah.

Hi ya Sue!! I just got up from a nap and am off work for 8 whole days! YEE HAA!! I'm gonna do some major cleaning and maybe get my basement painted this week!

You have a super day and don't work too hard!! (((Sue)))

Hello Marilyn Sue.

Majaco, where in central Indiana are you?

Sue also in central Indiana

so glad you're almost fixed...i'm still in a mess from stuff that needs to be put away from the bathroom re-do...we still have all this trim to finish..

i did get out today and got the car washed. i hate all that salt rubbing off on my clothes..stopped at kohls, but no luck on sales items...already posted about the prices...

am making baked potatoes for dinner. will give dh his choice of chili or creamed tuna to fill it...i'm making a sweet potato for me...

did get over to the post office to mail a camping book to a pal in canada...had the nicest comversation with two ladies in line...one had just made fresh banana bread for her ds and dil in nyc, a singer for the met...isn't amazing who you can meet in a brief moment?

Took my diuretic pill, couldn't eat for an hour, understood that I was to help prepare income tax returns for low-income folks at the church, but it starts Wed, so did some paper work (of the non-bathroom kind).

I was smart enough to bring a banana and a fruit-juice bottle of milk, so am not suffering from food withdrawal too seriouly.

Still quite a lot of snow around, but some bare ground showing, and it's about freezing today.

Spent some time on computer at the library (only the central is open on Monday, and I seldom go there, as they pay for up to 2 hours parking, but I prefer the free kind, regardless of who's paying). Then was to deliver a young man to a nearby village ... but he'd found another ride ... so did some banking and came out to the library in this village ...

... to bug you guys!

In an hour or so, I'll likely go to a local restaurant for a bowl of soup.
