Good morning to y'all! It's beginning to rain here--have some severe thunderstorms w/ hail about 50 miles from here. Hope the hail stays there! I'm taking my sister to lunch for her BD. We're going to a locally owned place, the Potpourri House, (wish you were here to go w/ us, Evatx). They have the most wonderful salad/soup bar ever. I'll probably have to come home and go to bed I'll eat so much! No plans after that except a trip to the credit union which always takes a long time b/c I visit so much! Hope where you are you have some beautiful weather.

Hey Moni, can I come with ya? I'll buy the treats! What am I doing today - my favorite outdoor activity - shoveling snow!!!! I'm going really squirrelly along with many other folk gazing out my window at THAT snowbank. I know there's activity out there beyond it, I can hear the cars, see the odd squirrel run along the window ledge but that's it! I think a bus ride is in order, a day of exploration. Woke up at the ridiculous hour of 3:30 am, found out Ed was up early too! We had a reminder to check all house vents for gas, laundry etc. on the news to make sure they are clear. My furnace vents on the roof and is clear and the laundry is the same. Wanted to go out the patio door but I can't - 4 feet of snow has piled up against it...and it WAS CLEAR last Thursday....mmmph! Anyone got snowshoes? I used to own muckluks(?) years ago. With the gas prices rising, thinking of getting a horse but I don't think the city by-law would allow it. Would be much cheaper than the car! So, it's an adventure day for me. Have a couple of places in mind. Going to purchase a day pass for the bus to day and just get the heck outta here! Snow or no snow!

Gosh Maryanne. If you run out of things to do at your house come over and help me. You energy level far exceeds mine! Windy, cold and snowy this morning. I have a photo shoot this afternoon that was suppose to be outdoors but will have to move it indoors. I much prefer to shoot in natural light but blowing snow doesn't make such a great background and people have a hard time smiling pretty when they are shaking with cold. I've spent most of the day taking phone calls and showing puppies. Only threeof Holly's puppies remain. They are so stinkin' cute! They will be five weeks tomorrow. I started them on puppy chow. Mostly they walk through it but are starting to mouth the food. They are very vocal too. When you speak to them all but one will run to you except on little female. She will sit back on her rear end, throw her head back and howl. I call her Stevie Nicks. LOL This week I will list Gabby's puppies online. Holly's puppies have been listed for only two days. Gabby's puppies are four weeks old and very very vocal. They are eating really well. If you show up to visit and go out to the barn, watch your step. There are little, sticky puppy surprises everywhere. Gabby's puppies are in the saddle room and Holly's in one of the stalls. I have a roast and some ribs in the oven for dinner. Custer will be working until dark thirty which will work out just fine. The meat won't be done until then. Digger didn't come home from Logan this weekend. The stinker. She only comes home when she needs money. I told her to get a job....LOL Jesse is at a barrel race in Ogden. She really enjoys them and her horses are running very well. I don't go very much with her. Today is a big race and there is just too much estrogen in one place for me. Lori

You aren't going to believe what I did. I'm so embarrassed! I forgot about him being NPO for six hours prior, until I got out of the car and was walking up to the door. I'm a nurse and forgot! We had to reschedule for next week. I tried to talk him into the "laughing" gas only but he wasn't going for that.
