I guess everything is fixed now Kath. I haven't seen any of the problems that were mentioned here since I got on.

Jammer came in last night and he had promised Madisyne that he would go swimming with her today. So that's what we will be doing this afternoon. We may go out of town this morning to do some shopping and get the plants we need for our garden. We are late planting our tomatoes and peppers, etc, but had to wait till Jammer was home.

I'm at work today, I'm just on lunch right now. I have a cake to do for an open house tonight, I'll be busy with that after work.

I'm back, glad the Kt is working again! It's so cold out today. Yesterday it was around 70. Where did the Spring go?

Susan, I hate having to do stuff after work. What kind of open house is it?

I never did stop and get anything for the Easter baskets, but did stop at Qdoba and get a naked burrito for lunch and dinner. I stopped at Whole Foods too, since it was right by the doctor's office and pharmacy. Got some Wasa crackers that are allowed on this diet. They don't look too good, but I'm willing to try anything. I also picked up some honey for Alex, he's been asking for some, and a couple other things.

I almost bought some organic chicken but I really can't afford to pay $12 for one chicken. I don't really understand why it costs more, no steriods or hormones, you'd think it would cost less. Everytime I go in there I look at the pinenuts too, but I can never bring myself to pay nearly $10 for less than a pint of them. I really miss them, we used to get them back in NV by the bagload. People would go out and pick them in the Fall, and they'd be in every store in town including little stop and shop gas stations.

Heading to Wal-Mart with a heavier coat in a little bit to get the rest of the kids' Easter stuff, before they come home from school. Got to hide it from them.

"Got some Wasa crackers that are allowed on this diet. They don't look too good, but I'm willing to try anything." Give them a chance....they can be an 'acquired' taste. What kind did you get? I like the Hearty Rye and the Light Rye the best. I rarely eat bread/crackers so use these in my soups and make an open 'sandwich' with them.

Shirley, it's called Hearty crispbread and tastes like dog food. Luther ate part of one that I tried but I didn't think he was going to because at first he spit it out. They're awful. I did see some others with nuts, fruit and honey but can't have the fruit and honey right now.

Sorry you didn't like them, Kath. I don't eat them plain. I also like them with cheese spreads on them such as horseradish or laughing cow. I first heard about them on Oprah and Bob Greene. (I'm chuckling over your description.)

I will probably eat them with lots of something on them since I paid for much for them-lol! Alex took a taste test for me, ate a piece of dog food and then ate a piece of a cracker and reports that I was correct, it tastes about the same, only the cracker has a slightly more "wheat" taste to it.

Kath, the open house is for a supervisor's 60th birthday. She is not well liked, but someone asked me to do the cake, and I agreed, so I will bring it with me when I go. I meant to say, I'm doing the cake tonight, and the open house is tomorrow. And I really hate to do stuff after work too. It never used to bother me, but now I just like my quiet time.

I've never had those Wasa crackers. I do have to start eating more fruit and veggies, I need to start there. I don't understand why all the organic stuff is pricier either.
