My Brother Needs prayers

My brother, Dean, is in the hospital in CCU. He is diabetic, and due to the high dosage of insulin he has had to take, he has a badly damaged liver and he has Interstitual lung disease. He has pneumonia and is on a ventilator.I talked to him yesterday morning before he went in the hospital and he had all he could do to breathe.He finally agreed to go to the hospital last night. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I wrote this message yesterday and I forgot to press send it!! I think is understandable with all this things going on around me and the shooting at Ft. Hood. As I write this I turned on the TV on CNN and they are talking about a shooting at an office in Orlando !! 8 people shot and the shooter is on the loose. When all this madness will stop? Thanks everyone for encouragement. I really need it. I am so stressed out about my sister situation, my surgery and when I came home tonight I heard about Ft Hood shooting, Lucy's scare and all those poor soldiers who's life was cut short. I do not want any more stress and worries for a while !!! Lucy, my sister is 6 years younger than me and she is the youngest of the 4 of us (3 sisters and one brother). Need prayers for my mil and fil,both injured and need meal ideas

Thanks for the ideas. One of the problems is that they live in a rural area and meals on wheels isn't available to them. The home health people are coming on Monday and I thinking that I am going to go over when they are there to make sure that they get all the bases covered. My mil is the kind of person that is always the first to help others but never asks for help herself. I am going to call one of the church members that lives closest and see if they can get a group together to take meals over every other day or so. My FIL is the problem and thinks everything needs to be a hot dinner. Me I could make a pasta salad and we could eat it all week long with sandwiches or grilling out. But that wouldn't be enough for them. So will have to do some thinking. Also FIL's son ( MIL and FIL married when in their 50's ) lives in town and hasn't worked for months and has been taking money from mil and fil and part of me feels that he needs to step up and help. But I want to do what I can to help. With 3 kids under 4 and one more on the way, I have enough on my plate to deal with but will muddle through. I think the most important thing is to be there when home health comes and to make sure that we cover all the bases, physical therepy for both of them, bathing, cleaning, and cooking. I'm up late so would like to hear the latest if you want to talk. I know you have been on the go before this with your puppy ordeal and then taking your kids to school. You must be exhausted as you enter into this new difficulty. I hope you have positive news by now. I just talked to my SIL and she says that Dean is holding his own. I guess that is a good thing but you want to hear so much better than that.It is just hard when I am in Florida and I want to be in Texas with him.I have another prayer request,this one for my husband.I spent the morning at the doctors with him and he has been having problems swallowing food and they say he needs an Esophagal Dialation.It is a good thing that I believe in prayer or I would be feeling pretty lost right now. Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.
