My Mom needs your prayers, please!!

Mom was out to dinner tonight with my brother and his wife and my other sister. She had chest pain, arm and back pain. Got very diaphoretic. They called 911 and got her to the hospital, sounds like she has a thoracoaortic aneurysm. That's what her father died of. I cannot get in touch with my partner to take over call for me, so I am frantic that I won't get there in time. Don't know if it will be treated medically or surgically. I was able to talk to her and tell her that I love her. Please, please send up your prayers for my dear sweet Mom, Joan.

WOW........ I have to say....this post alone just shows me so much!!..On TOP of all the prayers that went up for my family during a severe crisis....... I hope all she needs is stents but I have had three friends under go by pass in the last month....all in their eighties and doing very well. Good thoughts coming to your friend, Sally. The good news is that she's aware of her problem and can take the necessary steps to correct it.

She is still holding on. They told us last night that she probably wouldn't last the night and we all spent the night thinking this was it. However the cancer doctor had ordered steroids which have bought her some time. It's not a cure but she just isn't strong enough for the cancer treatment. They may try some oral chemo if she rebounds again but that's about all they can do. It's all about buying time now.

I'm up late so would like to hear the latest if you want to talk. I know you have been on the go before this with your puppy ordeal and then taking your kids to school.
You must be exhausted as you enter into this new difficulty.
I hope you have positive news by now.
Hope you sleep tonight as you need to the fuel to think positively and hear what the docs are saying. I give you my prayers and energy.
