Elizabeth, 'Excuse me please, I'd just like to say...'

I can't be the only person surprised by comments Elizabeth makes on "The View". She is so opinionated and argumentative....I'm sorry, I can't believe Barbara Walters continues to be a part of this. It's like watching children argue over a swing on the play ground!

You're right. My 30 y o daughter has quit watching the show b/c she said she was sick of Elisabeth. When they all talk at once I can't hear any of them.

You must be right. No one else on the show ever has a strong opinion. Lord knows they are always polite and thoughtful.

Seems when someone disagrees, the other person is wrong in their opinion. Sour grapes.

I do think it was a Munson for sure...and it is a FFO....and I really loved the look, texture and colour of it. I guess I'll just plant it in the bed of Unknowns, but worth keeping and maybe one day I'll figure out what it really is. Thanks for trying Chris. You are welcome to a fan of it once it makes another..:) I think when you get an eyeball on the actual flower you will see what I mean...the colour is like no other in my gardens..... Rick

Susan, you have to pay for some of the apps? I am really surprised. The whole point of Firefox is that it is "open source." It's a cooperative thing. Many developers work together. I don't use anything but Ad Block Plus, and then some of the "skins"...not sure what they call it (personas?), but you can change the display themes. I have a lady bug theme up right now. I know they have butterfly themes too. :) Lisa

That's what first drew me to wanting four chairs DD. The sofa makes me drool though. And my guess is I could get the sofa and use four chairs Here's the places the sofa could go with the chairs (LOL) placed over them so you'll have to look close for the three other sofa placements. They have ten chairs. They'd make great dining chairs too. Hmmm.... Now that's a thought. Two to four in the Ladies Parlor and six around the dining table. I like! It's not so much the size of the room, but the two large and one small doorways and four windows. Two of which go to the floor. I have plans in my head for columns with "book" cases as their bases that would lengthen the side walls of the LP.

Mary, It is amazing how little I shop now (online or off) that we live out in the boondocks. There's just almost no place I want to go badly enough to spend all the time driving there and back when there's always so much else to amuse me at home. It is just as well. The money I used to spend out shopping at the mall (conveniently located midway between my place of employment and our house when we lived in Ft Worth), well, that now is money spent on the garden and on food preservation supplies....and I am much happier now than I was then. Our idea of a big shopping excursion is to drive down to the metroplex, go to CostCo, get gasoline at the CostCo station, then go next door to the Steak and Shake place for lunch and then head home. On the way home, we'll stop at Sam's Club in Denton if there is anything they have that we need and which CostCo does not carry (often it is certain supplies for the VFD), and then if we can think of anything we didn't get at one of the big warehouse clubs, I pop into the Wal-Mart next door to Sam's to get it. Our final stop is a Lowe's or Home Depot if we need anything they carry. It sounds like a long day, but we do it all rather quickly....bam, bam, bam. In and out of each store quickly, getting only what is on our list and zipping on to the next place. The whole time I'm thinking of what I could be doing if we were at home. There's always so much work in the garden and kitchen calling out to me. Because the garden provides so much of our food, we buy a lot less food than we once did which further shortens the shopping trips, other than buying he kinds of things we need to can or to preserve our food in some other way. Malls just don't hold the same attraction for me that they once did. I'm too busy to spend time in them. Maybe once every month or two, we add Central Market to the list to pick up a few favorite items that are hard to find. After even a half a day down in the D-FW metro area, I'm ready to go home and to go back into hibernation. Johnny, That's so true. One of the things that drives me crazy is how much fossil fuel is used to ship food not just across the country but around the food. The average food item in a grocery store travels at least 1500 miles to get to the store. The average home-grown food we love travels 150 feet at most from our garden to our kitchen. She never lets anyone interrupt her but she interrupts everybody else. She is a pain in the neck. I do like all the others though. They probably keep her there because she is confrontational, like Omarosa on Apprentice.

When Donald Trump was voicing his dislike of Rosie and others, he said something like Elisabeth was the dumbest blonde on TV. Don't care for the arrogant Donald, but I had to agree with him on this one.

Touche, but how I would miss Whoopie! I can't think of anyone except my HD, I'd rather have that 2nd/3rd cup of coffee with as I'm getting my day started! She brings such a down to earth....realistic personality to the table! We love you Whoopie! just curious....Barbara, could we request a FMLA for Elisabeth so she can enjoy her new baby at home and we can enjoy "The View" with your other guests who rarely (as my southern grandmother would say) "get a word in edgewise"...

It's not only her rudeness, but her voice is so grating. I was hoping when her ball jocky husband got traded, she would be gone. I would like it if they didn't talk over each other, but at least Joy has a sense of humor. Now I wonder if Sherry is as dumb as she sounds or if that is an act.

I just wanna say to her...

Elizabeth, "Excuse me, excuse me please, I'd just like to say...SHUT UP!" Woopie sometimes looks so flustered and frustrated, almost unbelieving of comments E makes! one day....I invision Whoopie really losing her cool, remember, she has a sharp wit from way back in the day....and has crossed many bridges to get where she is today!

The only ones I like now are Joy and Barbara, and I don't mind Sherry too much. I've never been a Whoopi fan, and it's time for Elisabeth to get another job. Maybe she could be on HGTV on one of the design programs.

I'm a Whoopi fan, too, and predicted she would be the next new host/moderator..so glad she got the job.

Whoopi is one hard working gal; she says she gets up very early to do a radio show before taping The View. Has anyone heard her radio show? She's clever, talented and funny..think I'd enjoy her on the radio.

Elizabeth reminds me of a "spoiled brat", that thinks she is better than everyone else. She claims not to be racist, but I bet she doesn't have any Black Friends either.

Sherry is a "air head", but she put the "hush" on Elizabeth yesterday. Saying, "I let you talk, now let me talk".

Barbara whispered "watch it" to Elizabeth yesterday when she kept interrupting and put a hand up in a position of discipline.

Watch Whoopi and Joys body language when Elizabeth speaks. I don't think any of the panel likes Elizabeth.

I don't watch often but really like everyone except Elizabeth. It's not that she is so opinionated but that her opinions are ludicrous and unrealistic. The way she seems to want to re-write the dictionary is hilarious, redefining words, terms, and their meanings. What on earth? We'll never see it, but that girl is going to grow up one day and crash into a sea of unbelievable reality.
