Hi Amy-- Sorry for the bad link. I think I fixed it below. Sadly, my pics don't give you the best representation of the color. Probably the closest is in picture #2, and the Walker Zanger catalog is pretty close to true as well. The green is more muted than bottle green, like a lighly grayed sage. And I have really come to love the subtle iridescence (that originally was a compromise for my husband). In most light, you don't see it, only when a ray of direct sunlight hits... since you're familiar with Oceanside glasstile, you probably know what I mean. We used Laticrete grout in Lichen and then we found Lutron outlet covers that matched the tile color perfectly (installed after my pics were taken). Anyway, your cabinets, Icestone and design are gorgeous. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices you are mulling. Good luck! Thanks for the nice comments, all. I hope to take pics tomorrow and get them up Monday. @jam sf we actually ordered it through a tile store in Key West ( nowhere near us, long story) but I have seen similiar tile online, including at Amazon. I'm sure there are other patterns as I've seen some on this board, but I never looked into it because I knew I wanted the 1-inch mosiac. @willemsen: we used Bright White. We did a sample of Alabaster but felt it made the tile look pinkish. I was worried that the bright white would be too white, but we're thrilled with the final look. And yep, it does sparkle with the UCLs on. :) more to come, I promise.

Thank you all for your thoughts and support. The community here helped me pick my granite--I had one really long post with photos and had people give their opinions. Laura, I got it at a company called Cosmos; they are in several cities. Gemini, I love ABBS! Shorter to write, that's for sure. Mizinformation--I am rooting for your success! Our shelves weren't adjustable and given the number of other cabinets we needed, we opted to completely start over. Did you have those wonderful soffits to remove? We all had a turn with the Sawzall at least once. We did save a number of 2x4s from the soffits, and I have pix of my mother-in-law pulling nails out of them. B/S: I am leaning toward a light blue for the backsplash to pick up the color in the granite. I have seen some glass ones I like (kinda spendy for my budget) but now I'm stuck on what I'm doing with my shower. (I'd want all the tile done at the same time.)

Thanks Patricia...paled grayed green sounds appealing-Ill look at those colors...as for cabinets-yes, theyll be installed directly on the log wall...we're blessed with an amazing cabinetmaker who is skilled in log home cabinet installation....we also have kiln dried logs-so they wont shrink/settle too much. Ill attach a pic (not a great one, but the only I could find at the moment) of the lower furing wall we had originally built for the lowers--then tore out-because that would have made a backsplash stick out several inches-a ledge--it would have looked weird, & would have pushed fridge & cabinets out too..eating up several inches of kitchen space. So, we took out the furing wall-moved the fridge outlet to the corner, literally, of the log wall & drywall (can see it in my 1st pic of original post-midway up the wall) & plumbing was able to come up through the floor instead of the wall-I conceded & instead of a wall switch am doing an air switch in counter for disposal-only thing left was switch for over sink light-which for convenience-I wanted near the sink-so we're doing a shallow mount light switch under the upper cabinet, to right of sink-unconventional I believe-but a good tradeoff in my mind. Our cabinetmaker is making the upper cabinet rails a little longer anyway for lights/outlets under the cabinets-so I think it will work out ok. I may need to always point out to guests where that switch is-but worth it in order to have a normal 4" granite backsplash on the log wall. The tile will cover the open areas on the drywall/range side--including behind the chimney hood. Sooo..thats the plan-its been one of those ongoing challenges that went on for quite some time-& we finally got everyomes input & solved the problem..yay! :) Now for the fun stuff :)
