I'd go with the sand. I'd like to see them and also a picture of the rest of your room, it's a better way to decide. Btw, can you tell me where you purchased those? I've been looking for hours for grommet top drapes in the tan tone. Thanks.

Those are great drapes. I like the sand too, but would like to see them up with your room.

The panels are from Bed, Bath and Beyond -- called Reina Window Panels. I love the texture -- sort of a soft burlap!

I'll try to get a few more pictures of the space. Give me some time to take and post them.

I'm not sure you saw my reply on your other thread, but I much prefer the sand over the ivory. Though both could work the Sand has a warmer feel which seems to fit better with the rest of your decor.

Now that I see the room, I stand by sand.:)

Thanks everyone for all the input. I, too, was thinking sand, but just needed the reassurance. We may not get to it until next weekend, but I promise that as soon as we have everything up, I will post pictures.

Another vote for sand, although my first thought would be a mossy green, which it looks like the Reina line has.

Sand...but the ivory works fine, too. Can't wait to see the pretty room finished~

les -- I'll take a look at the green to see just how 'mossy' it is, but right now, I'm still thinking I want something that just blends right in. Just the other day, tho, I started thinking I need to bring some green into the room in other areas. Glad you mentioned the color.

I like the ivory best. It would lighten the mood in the room and if you decided to change the wall color in the future, you would have lovely neutral curtains already!

Definitely Sand!

I like the sand best but like the idea of the mossy green even better. I think the ivory would work too. Very pretty room!

If the window wall is a bit empty, I would consider the ivory to give the room a bit more interest. The sand might blend too much into the wall to add much.

I think my best bet might be to install the rods and then give the two colors (or three, if I take a look at the green at BBB and think it might also be a possibility) a try. Right now, I'm still kind of torn between the SAND and the IVORY. I know the SAND blends in, but that might be what I want. OTOH, it may blend in too much and the IVORY might be better. Perhaps this is why I've put off dressing these windows for so long!!

I think the sand is light enough. The ivory seems too light and too much of a contrast considering the other choices you've made for the room.

I think both colors look fine. In the end, I don't think you can go wrong with either. :) It will truly depend on if you want something that matches closely (sand) or is neutral, but slightly contrasting (ivory.)

I like the sand. You have a beautiful room. Can you share what your entertainment center/bookcase is and where you got it? I really like it.

happyladi - The furniture is Hooker and the name of the style is Brookhaven. We purchased it at a local furniture store about 4 years ago. One of the reasons we chose it is because it is modular. There is a console the TV sits on that we figured we could use later in a smaller space, if necessary. Also, we thought we might be able to use each bookcase on either side of a window, as well. Hope this helps.
