I'm so glad you enjoyed it Kylie. Now I have to tell everyone how you sent me my seeds. I'm surprised my post office even delivered it to me. (grin) And I want to know how you did it. The bubble envelope that Kylie sent was covered with beautiful pages out of a flower catalog or something. It had flowers all over it and discriptions and so forth. But the neat/or hard part about it was the way she put it on there I couldn't find a place or seam to open it. LOL Very neatly done and I didn't want to mess it up. Did you use some kind of spray to glue it on or what? I have seen people do that with small seed packs they are exchanging, but never anything as large as the bubble envelope wrapped like that...it was awesome. Thank you for all the trouble you went to, giving it a very special touch that took some time to do. I loved the little address things you made too. I'd like to have about a dozen made like that with my name on them. Very pretty. I also want to thank everyone on here for being so helpful and good to me. It's wonderful to have garden buddies who can relate to your love of nature and flowers. Now with that said, do any of you grow daylilies and if so do you ever order off the Lily Auction? That place will make a gambler out of you real quick. LOL I placed several orders that I really couldn't afford, but I just had to have some of them. That thing makes it way to easy to get in over your head. I'll be eatting beans and bologna for a month so I can pay for my orders. LOL Do any of you grow dayliles? Do you have any to share or trade? I just started growing a few last year. I now have over 100 named ones, but I just planted them last year and they are not big enough to trade and share. Hopefully they will be next year. I'm crossing my fingers to see how many of them come back this spring. I have a few daffodil and other bulbs blooming in the yard. Spring must not be too far off. Day Dreaming about my dogwoods,azaleas, irises, daylilies, roses, brugs and many other plants in bloom. Love Marian

Ahhh, thanks everyone...there are some PERKS living in a state with WINTER!!! LOL! We lost our very old Maple trees out front & built an arbor there (about 8 -10' from LR windows)...we always fed birds from the maple tree closeby...now the birds have adapted to the arbor...so we are very happy about that! DH feeds 'em, I take pics & help build birdhses & feeders! OA ... my camera is about 3 or 4 yrs. old now...it's my second digital & I love it.. I can set it manually or auto...I use auto alot of the time. It is a Sony DSC-H5 Super SteadyShot ... has a 12x optical zoom built in...a very user-friendly camera...they probably have made a newer version by now but this one is good for me. Also I use software to fix pics if they need it...and Photobucket has that "edit" where anyone can fix up pics, too..I use it sometimes. My computer crashed (for the 2nd time in a few mos) so my old software will not work on the new computer I am getting with Windows 7. So, ugh! Will see what happens! Oh, what a precious box that the GKs made! Your roses are also so beautiful--my hubby is not a flower person at all. Your mantle, tree and chandy are all so festive looking. I think you table looks inviting. I wish I had some red glasses or stemware. I have been adding to my dishes in the past couple of months. I got the table bug here and have been on the hunt. I have a large set of everyday dishes in an offwhite with a dark blue ring around the lip area. (don't know if that is what it is called) I read a lot here about mixing and matching plates instead of sets. So, I have been haunting the area thrift stores, GW and SA and even a few estate sales. I picked up some assorted plates in neutral colors at these places. I am picky and have spent a lot of time looking for what I wanted. I am buying 4 of each thing that I find and like. I have found some solid white dinner plates, black octagon plates that I got the dinner and salad ones, packaged together for not much $$, white with black swirls salad plates, some animal print looking salad plates, a few blue cobalt glass, clear glass salad plates, green dinner plates, some green salad plates that will blend with them, 4 gold DPs, and my favorite is 4 ivory plates with a pink edge and pink roses and the matching soup bowls. I found 5 pink salad plates that will work with them at TJ Maxx over the weekend. I also have picked up some snowman dishes and Christmas ones in the after Christmas deep discount sales. I haven't paid much for any of these and now have quite an assortment. I also picked up 4 new terracotta colored salad plates and 4 new white square salad plates at Target recently for $2 a set. They were regularly around $15 a set. Now, I have to concentrate on glasses.

Wow these are really beautiful, do you buy the choc roses already attachet to the stems ? can you share with me all the things you would need to buy to make one of these and info on how to make them thanks your a very talented lady cheryl
