Skins on or skins off?

I'm taking potato salad to take to the annual pumpkin massacre (carving party) and potluck hosted by long time friends. Normally I would take an entree but this year I didn't commit early and the hostess called and asked for any kind of salad, please. Potato salad popped into my tired brain. I rarely make potato salad! And if I do I wing it.

I bought some Yukon golds which are well scrubbed and simmering away as I write. I left them whole with peel. Now I can't decide if I should leave the skins on or remove them. I am including crumbled bacon, hard cooked eggs, celery, red onion, parsley and a bit of red bell pepper for color. There is a small amount of dill and freshly ground pepper in the mayo/sour cream dressing.
