It seems Stargate Portal was the big hit and it is well-deserved. For many years I coveted this one and swore I would get my hands on it. I feared it wouldn't live up to my expectations but it is every bit as stunning (and a great bloomer and increaser in my garden) as I dreamed. The color is exactly as you see in my photo.....it has not been enhanced. I have well over 400 cultivars now and yet this one is still 'wowing' me. To answer questions, Mantis: Tiramisu is brand-new and just 2 fans but bloomed from being planted in June. Therefore I can't evaluate it this year. The cream spider in the 2nd landscape shot is 'Shaker Dance'. A closer shot of it follows. Nat, Prediction looks fine this year but last year I did sometimes find it looking a little funky now and then. I did add about 30 new daylilies this year, less than what I usually acquire. I am running out of room but that still won't stop me....lol. Celeste

How sad; I'm sorry it happened to you. It's good to make a police report and for you to get a copy of it. If nothing else it gives you an official report you can send to creditors, etc. that the theft was documented, where, when, etc. Also, I would ask the pastor to make this theft known in the next Sunday sermon. This lets the rest of the congregation to be more vigilant and, hopefully, make the thief turn in the non-cash contents. Who knows, there may be others just like you who have had items stolen but who have kept silent.

I want to make sure everyone receives their cards in time to decorate with them. Please, remember that it will take a week for the Canadian people to receive their cards from the US and at least two weeks for Europe/Australia to receive theirs. I know times are tough this year. If you would like to participate, but the postage for regular cards is a little much, post cards are 27 cents in the US. You can always buy the post cards in the business section (like labels and business cards) where you find the photo paper, ect in Walmart, and run them thru you photo program with whatever picture you would like on them, and send those! Maybe you have a great pic of last year's tree, or a beautiful waterfall, or snow scene. Make use of them! I have started using some of the pictures we take on our travels and turning them into cards, get well, thinking of you, birthday, ect. Could even be your pets. Can you tell I am trying to learn to think outside the box?! Please join us. If you are a newbie, there are a number of people willing to exchange with you.
