Greenhouse week 3 pictures

It's been a big week in the greenhouse.

The begonias are potted.

Some of the first seeds are started.

The New Guniea Impatiens are potted and "on line". The New Gunieas and Geraniums are watered with little spaghetti tubes and a dripper to help prevent disease problems. Each plant is set on the bench and then a tube is placed from the larger black feeder line to the pot. This a labor intense operation but worth it. There are only 400 New Gunieas to do. In a couple weeks we do the same thing with about 4,000 geraniums.

Blossom supervised the operation.

The pansy plugs came in. 512 to a tray.

They're transplanted one at a time to 4 packs.

Joel has a barn that was built in 1918 that is used for storage. It will soon be resided with new steel siding. It'll last for another 90 years but, lose some of it's charm.

Last week A few of you requested more pictures of Blossom

Here she is waiting outside for the UPS man.

Thanks for looking.

Ron
