Dances with the Stars finalists from last season. I really enjoyed seeing them again.

They also introduced the New Star Dancers. Priscilla Presley looked like she was wearing a mask.

I loved the show today, DH even sat through it and he hates Oprah. What has happen to Priscilla anyway, plastic surgery gone bad? She was so pretty too.

People using internet on dial-up have good training for this. Get used to doing housework, chores, etc. in 10-second chunks, while waiting for websites, messages, graphics to load. This'd be easy - commercials run 30 seconds or more at a time, don't they? Or, using the mute, enable at least a smidgeon of conversation when visitng friends who are TV addicts. Well, in answer to your question about "is it staged". Heck yes, they had Doctors, EMT's and all kinds of emergency equipment there. Staged or not, Dang 17 minutes of holding your breath? I love the animal records. The dog with the glass of water is so cool! David Blaine requested Oprah to allow him to break a record on her show. He stated that he actually loses money every time he does one of his "events". He has to work all year to pursue his "goals". He trained vigorously for this event. He is planning more. Gayle

Why would you "support" CBS, CNN or any "network"? I thought that TV was for "entertainment", "information" and "education"; all of which is on OWN. I do not believe Oprah started OWN to further "feather her own nest", but to be able to create a place where movies, information and education by, for and about WOMEN will be available. I imagine that her success has been so tempered by the challenges that women have faced during her 25 years of tv, that it is her aim to continue to break through that "glass ceiling" that we hear about. Women need to champion the success of other women, not ignore or think of it as self-promoting. Just My Opinion. Sorry if I have stepped on toes. Nanny (who grew up and worked in the 50's and who is grateful for those women who have blazed a trail to make women valued.)

I saw Priscilla on Dinner Impossible I think it was, and whoa! She used to be sooooooo beautiful. I am not sure what she did.

Wasn't that a good show? I love Emmett Smith and enjoyed seeing all the dancers who were on, especially that woman who was taking dance lessons and got surprised and ended up on Oprah. She was pretty darned good. Cute, too.

This should be an interesting season, although I don't know that many of the new dancers.

I wish I had seen it today. I didn't watch DWTS until one night I just happened to have it on. Emmett Smith was on and I thought he was wonderful. I tried to remember to watch it every time after that.
I saw Priscilla for a few minutes this morning on tv. She does look bad. A few months ago I read in some movie star magazine at a doctor's office that she looks the way she does because of Botox. I think it's sad.

The show repeats again at 1:00 am......at least here in CA it does. I missed it today, I'll have to Tivo it tonight....
Priscilla had so much botox in her top lip on Oprah the last time she was on that only her bottom lip smiled! If they could only see themselves as we see them.....it's horrible looking.

I saw Priscilla's picture in a magazine this week (TV Guide?) and she looks terrible. Why in the world do they think that plastic looking skin is better than a few well deserved wrinkles? I think it's sad.

I just mean that she seemed bored, or quiet with no enthusiasm and just akward.
