Clemens is suing McNamee now. So, who's lying? I think I know. Personally, I don't much care if someone wants to abuse their body. The problem is that one of the side affects of steroid use is violent behavior ie the wrestler who killed his family. There's also the problem of young athletes using them because their heroes do and because they want to go further than their natural talents will allow. Still yet, the playing field isn't level. Very interesting dilemma.

My DH and I really like Dr. Oz. We started drinking 4 cups of green tea a day per the doctor, and we are both feeling so much better. The difference in our skin, nails and hair is amazing! I also started yoga based on the doc's advice. It is really helping me. At 54, I'll take whatever advice sounds reasonable, healthy. On the REAL AGE test, I'm 47, but need to loose another 10 lbs to improve that. I'm determined to get there. My husband and I both agree that health is the top priority at our age in order to enjoy our lives. Stay strong! Cameron

oh I see what happened I walked in when they were talking about her partners discovery of desmoid tumors in her body and having to rush her to the hospital and them dealing with that horrible ordeal. I missed the part where she talked about her own heart attack issue. I went and read about it. She was lucky she lasted through the night before going to the doctor in the morning, not a wise thing to do. She said her son Blake said Mommy you look very white and she said she was not feeling well and went to the doctor in the morning. When those symptoms are present with the arm and chest and neck pain she was having those are classic signs for a woman. She is lucky to be alive.

A few weeks prior to the airing of this show, I received an advertisement in the mail for a local store advertising the neti pot. I was intrigued and did some online searching. You can now buy them at Longs Drugs as well. I have asthma and allergies and thought this might benefit me. But during my search I also found a sinus rinse technique using a squeeze bottle and saline and thought it more appealing, because you can vary the pressure with which the water flushes your sinuses. I am so happy to have discovered this and I use it every day. Parhelia, you just lean over the sink and tilt your head in a certain manner and the neti pot just uses gravity to take the water through one nostril, through your sinuses, and out the other nostril. Simple as that. And I totally understand your fear of drowning. I was a bit hesitant at first (I had an older brother who loved dunking me as a kid, and I always felt as if he might succeed in drowning me one day), but I don't get that feeling while using my sinus rinse bottle. Do a search for neti pot and you'll find videos showing people using them. I posted about this a couple of weeks ago on the health forum, but got so few responses that I thought nobody used them. Now I see that I was just posting in the wrong place. Of course, my family thinks I'm crazy, but I told them I don't care. I like to breathe freely.
