I took a ziti casserole out of the freezer. Had that with baby spinach salad with strawberries and blueberries. It was all good!

Checked the big freezer, and came up with stuffed peppers. Then I put some Marie Callendar cheese biscuits in the oven, so I'm good to go!

I have been cleaning and reorganizing all day and I am tired, cleaning lady comes tomorrow, my husband never understands why I feel the need to clean the house before the cleaning lady comes. I just do.

So tonight is sandwiches night, I have a good selection of deli meats cheeses and bread. They can be regular or panini. To each to decide and make!

We split a porterhouse steak, green beans and mashed potatoes.

Jas, if I'd known we were going to get such a late start, I would've POOF'd something, too. Harry's nap lasted way longer than usual and, God forbid, he miss a trip to the store. He says he's not hungry either, so it's fruit and Greek yogurt for anybody who gets hungry.

Phyllis, I've never seen MC's cheese biscuits, but you can bet the farm I'll be looking for them. I really like her products.

Raven, I need to re-organize badly. Glad I'm not the only one too tired to cook!

Pam, porterhouse is so good. We don't eat much beef and when we do it's mainly hamburger :-) But that steak sure sounds good! Wish I had a genie that would put it already prepared on a plate in front of me--maybe I'd eat then.

I made stuffed shells this afternoon, along with some brownies. We will have that with Italian bread and salad with Italian dressing.

Teriyaki chicken and pork fried rice w/steamed veggies

roasted butternut squash with garlic, and a sunny side up egg over it.

:)

YUMMY

I had chicken rice soup that I made today, along with a pulled chicken sandwich, and hot green tea to drink.

Shirley

LuAnn, I haven't stuffed shells for ages. I can almost smell them. But tonight I'd be happy with just the bread and salad. Yum!

Cheri, I have pork fried rice on my rotation list. When I lived in Okinawa, my maid made the best darned fried rice and I've never been able to duplicate it. But I surely won't ever forget it!

Moni, did you make that recipe up? I love those hard squashes--acorn and butternut--but would never had thought about an egg on top. Sounds reasonable, though. Enjoy!!

Shirley, I miss my mother's chicken and rice soup. It always reminds me of my brother--it was his very favorite. I should heat Harry's tea on a cold evening. He drinks a lot of green tea.

We were extra busy all day so tonight I called in an order from our favorite Chinese restaurant. We had beef broccoli and house fried rice. It was all very good with little cleanup and no cooking.

It's two weeks until we head out. Getting really busy and have company coming tomorrow for the weekend.
