What's for Dinner Monday evening?

Today was a glorious day. Full sunshine, and no wind. The trees are gorgeous with snow, I'm going to take a picture tomorrow and post it.

We just finished dinner, basa fish fillets with sauteed/steamed broccoli with garlic and red pepper flakes, and brown rice. An oatmeal cookie to go with my tea.

It started to rain yesterday & ended this morning with sleet. No sun all day just clouds.

I decided to make a pot of pasta fagioli with homemade bread. I had some pasta as I don't like the soup.

I finally made it out and about to go visit my sister at the Home and run some much needed errands. The sun was out here for several hours. I tried to drink in my fill of it since another winter storm is coming tomorrow/Wed, than another one over the weekend.

My meal was a sandwich from McDs and small chili from Wendy's. Couldn't eat all of it.

Pam, I love quiche and have leftover ham in the freezer. I should make one with ham, and onions, peppers and mushrooms. Hubby won't eat any hot cooked eggs, so it's me and my quiche. The last time I made hamburger rolls I posted a pic :) Cheri I love pot roast. I tend to make mashed potatoes on the side, instead of in the slow cooker. We like them that way better. Alice your dinner sounds great! We eat a fair bit of rice, just love it. Ellendi would you share your quinoa recipe on the Share your Recipe Thread???? We enjoy quinoa. That's the pits you had so much trouble finding the sriracha. Old Fixer, IS there such a thing as too much garlic? LOL Party, I was going to bake some sweet potatoes yesterday, but they are really small, so I mashed them along with white potatoes. We like them mixed. Matti, I've heard that In n Out burgers are good. Enjoy! Rhizo, we just had some homemade apple sauce that I took out of the freezer with a warm oatmeal-carrot muffin! Georgysmom, everyone deserves pizza at some point!

LOL Angela.......looking forward to an avocado!! Rhizo, I wish I lived closer, I'd crash your dinner. Now you made me want kabobs! Raven, I love a good sub.Haven't had a sub in a long time. Kittie, we love hamburger patties and broccoli. We need a potato though. OF, steak and strawberry pie. You eat well. Marilyn, tacos are so good. Now you made me want them, too. Glad I could help with your watermelon craving. :) Shirley, I always, always want ham, potatoes and green beans. I keep looking for ham on sale but it hasn't been in a dog's age. I think instead of craving everyone's meals and make them, I'll just have to make a road trip and visit you all!

Matti: Your meal tonight sounds like it would fit right in with your Weight Watchers program. How are you doing with it? Jasdip: You've had a busy few days. I like a good beef stew. I've never thought of mashing the two different potatoes together. But I will give it a try. Stacey: All those vegetables would be a real treat. I really like greek yogurt. Terri: I vote with you.........meatloaf. Georgysmom: Can you believe I've never gotten a roasted chicken from the store!! I'd probably want to sit down and eat half of it. Ellen, your meal sounds delicious. I made chicken cutlets with capers a couple of weeks ago and hubby loved them. Shirley, you make good meals for yourself. A lot of our snow melted today with a lot more to melt with the increased temperatures this week. Janey, leftovers are always welcomed here. Thank heavens, I'd hate to cook a new meal every nite of the week. Prairie, does your hubby have to use a fork lift of some sort to "right" the cow? The poor thing! He might want a steak when he comes in after working to get her up and going again. Raven, I would have thought that roofing companies would be looking for business. To have 3 not even return your calls is inexcusable, especially when you're in an emergency situation. As usual, your dinner sounds great. We had hamburger sliders, green beans with stewed tomatoes, and cottage cheese. Lots of fixings for the burgers. There is chocolate cake if we desire although DH will most likely have a bowl of ice cream.

My supper was a bowl of oatmeal. Tomorrow we are waiting on another snow storm to move in. It is 14 out right now.

I had to pick up the Grandkids at school so we went to McDonalds. It is a rare occasion I have to do this so we partied a little bit!!

It was cloudy here today, but around 74. Yesterday was beautiful; 70 and sunny. Quite a change from the winter storm last week. The coast of NC-where you can wear snow boots and flip flops within less than a week!

Tonight we're having bbq sandwiches, redskin potato salad, and baked beans.

Just pork chops, roasted baby potatoes and corn. Nothing special. But it smells so good!

Mary, I had to look up what Pasta Fagiola was. It sure sounds healthy!

Shirley, the weather was sunny all day here as well. Just loved being outside in it. Wendy's chili is a meal in itself and one of the most popular choices on their menu. You made 2 stops for your dinner!

Hellion sliders with your healthy sides sure sounds good. Lots of good choices. I'd have the chocolate cake AND ice cream.

Sue, I had oatmeal last nite! We're supposed to get more snow and cold temps again starting tomorrow nite.

Susie, did you see Gadgets at McD's?? ;-)

Kittiemom, I would love to have a barbecue. What kind of sandwiches did you do?

Let's see I am eating homemade ranch..dipping in carrot sticks, broccoli and kettle chips.
Hubby heated up some fried chicken and hot wing leftovers..and some BBQ smokies for me..

Baseball started tonight..so I wasn't home to cook dinner...

Rummage is the word of the night. Lol
