Peach book opinion
Comments (4)Hi Looks like mine messages had some writing errors, but i think you got still what i wrote. It took time because i had to watch the title what was in there to tell what was in it. Gonebananas hi You welcome. I have found the book you mentioned, but it cost more. Scottfsmith hi How much you learn information about peaches from this book depends how much you know about peaches. If you know a lot of peaches you probably don't learn so much new things by reading of peach book....See MoreSmall Farmers Please act now
Comments (2)There is absolutely no reason for this or any other food type law. It is so extremely rare for someone to die from any food---from a fresh farm market or storefront type food business, that the odds are better that you will see a dog fly!! I would hope as bad as things are now with jobs and other pressing issue,s such as illegal immigration enforcement they could think of something to get this country back going strong, instead of siding with huge grocery chains and industrial farms to put little farmers and farm market growers in a world of hurt and worry! Just my opinion, what do I know. Nick k...See MoreWhat's Your Favorite New Kitchen Tool?
Comments (58)dcarch, that's fantastic...but i'm such a 'permy' i suppose that i like being out in the weather... using wood for fuel. Smoking mozzarella on the 4th will be a challenge at 80 temp, but the ice block worked last summer. mustangs, got ya beat on the temp collection...just mowed on over, then another i stuck in the smoker with the plastic sleeve still on, lol. (i should just buy the whole display rack of the cheap ones) I probably could win the 'useless-junk-kitchen-crap' contest...i just spring cleaned out the kitchen drawers and filled a box to go downstairs with all the previous years boxes... I did toy and play with the rubber lid things recently in a cooks supply...the texture is a bit creepy like my silpats and don't care for the microfiber cloths...DH wore one to work stuck on the inside back of his shirt...wiggled down to the, fortunately tucked-in, waistband like a muffin top. Find them inside folded sheets... Not many new purchases recently. Like that thermopop but i treated us to a thermopen for valentines day during their sale and bought red. It has a special spot and is not allowed outside for the grill unless with special care... So i would have to say my maple tree that nature took down over the winter... Many future cooking tools and fuel coming soon. This is just the top 1/3rd and is now safely on the ground-ish. The base 20 ft is still standing. Not at all sad as we have a large herd of them...would have cost a small fortune to have it pro cut so nature did the hard costly work. Designed a dining table a few years ago and now see it may be built finally....See MoreBest uses for warming drawer
Comments (15)I think your current location is perfect. I am doing a kitchen remodel and I have a warming drawer that I specifically installed to the right of the cooktop right under the counter (where a top drawer would be). I did this based on feedback from many on the kitchen forum that the location makes a big difference on whether the warming drawer is used or not. Are you replacing all 3 ovens? Can you do 3 individual units? That may give you position flexibility. There is no restriction on that will specifically prevent you from installing a single warming drawer in the middle if that is what you want. Here the use cases I came up with on how I will use the warming drawer: - Keep food warm so that I can cook and eat with the rest of the family. Currently if it is food that is best eaten warm, my family eats while I cook and I eat last. - Better sequence cooking so that I can make some things ahead and store in warming drawer. I did get the kind that has a vent to shut or open so that the crisp food stays crisp and soft food stay soft. The dishes that mustangs posted look perfect as well. - low heat warmer I don't have to baby sit - Great for bread proofing, yogurt, batter fermentation etc....See Moreruthanna_gw
