Help w/Size of Backsplash Tiles

So I'm actually getting closer(I think!). I have decided to do the backsplash on the full wall, but don't want to do a full wall of 1 tile. Here is the kitchen(again.....)

I am considering mixing 3 different tiles and doing 1 across the wall on the bottom, the glass mosaic as a 2-3" high border and then the third tile on top. Here are the tile choices:

1) Marble

2) glass - comes as 1X1 square or 1X2 brickface

3) white ceramic

There are so many options for sizes on the marble and white ceramic and also what goes on top and what on bottom.

I've considered:

1) marble mosaic across bottom, then glass mosaic, then white ceramic on top(not sure of size here)

2) marble 3X6 on bottom, glass mosaic, white ceramic on top

3) white ceramic on bottom, glass mosaic, marble mosaic on top

See where i'm going with this!!! Maybe I first need to decide what goes on the bottom and what goes on the top and then determine the scale of the tiles. Do you think a larger size should go on the bottom to "ground" it?

Also, any idea where to "make the change" in tile?

Sorry if this is so confusing. Thanks for your help. Hoping this is my last backsplash question.
