That is a very unique use of um fishnet! I have a few things bouncing around in my mind I could say associated with fish net but nope not gonna do it LOL

That thing on her head was the last thing I was looking at. Someone sent me this the other day titled.."heading off to Walmart, whoops forgot my lipstick." Yikes. .

Too cool, your bathrooms look like mine. Just amazing. I guess I grew up in the 50's-60's (born in 48) and am sick of those fixtures. First thing I did when we moved here was tear out all the old bathsrooms. But I never touched this one because we didn't use it. I always planned too, but never got to it. Now I see how younger people would find it cute. Your bathrooms are beautifully done. Much better than mine were. The toilet is exactly what was there. Weighed a ton and was a job to remove. Funny part is it survived all those years without any repairs. All the other toilets in the house were replaced and repaired numerous. My other toilets are all Kohlers. That old toilet never had a part replaced and we have really bad well-water. It took a drunk, 300lb man to send it off to toilet heaven. I looked around for vanities and a 55" would have to be a special order and take months. I have the men working in the house and want to get the bathroom done. I would buy a 55" immediately if anyone carried them. They are all 48" or 60". Can't squeeze in a 60. Yes, I live in NY 40 miles north of Manhattan. Jane

ooh, Bonnie, that's a GREAT idea! Wow, what a way to improvise! It would work beautifully. If your entry area is skinny, like mine, and you don't have room for a bench that permanently sticks out, you could get a stool, and slide it under, next to the boots. I don't know for sure what they're called, either. I had a neat looking wooden one that was one of the first ones I saw, and it looked very nice. In a rental apt., where you can't hang stuff on the walls, that was really nice! it didn't have doors, the way some of them do now, but it was still very useful. I can't use one in my current home--a window 0ver the toilet in one bathroom, and a cabinet on the wall in the other--so I donated it somewhere. But what a neat other use for them! You could add hooks to the sides, or even get those double hooks to hang from the underside of the top section, just like the cubbies at day-care have! Michie, there IS a wicker cabinet like that (search "preserves cabinet")--it's a bit more money, and doesn't have a drawer. But that drawer is a teeny bit high for a short kid. The reason I didn't point you to that cabinet is, it's hard to attach hooks to the wicker, and I think the hooks are important--hanging the clothes up means she can see what she wants to use. You could use a freestanding coat tree, though. Do a Froogle.com search on "coat tree" + child's, and you'll see lots of them, in prices from $20 to $80. The only think I'd think is, there are only 4 hooks on most of them--not a lot, but better than nothing. I also don't trust clothes trees not to fall over. Another reason NOT to put dress-up stuff in a big box: when they're trying to find the necklaces that have slide to the bottom, they dig EVERYTHING out and throw it on the floor. (how old is this kid? And are you gonna have any money--or ROOM--left to get her presents *next* Christmas? My kids are 10 and 6, and I've realized that too much at Christmas is a bad thing. When there's a lot of stuff, it just doesn't register. It's disappointing to me to scale back, but it's necessary. Plus, there are so many OTHER people giving them presents, it's just too much STUFF.) Good luck!

what you see in the crown is ballchain and its not grouted, - I hav had no problems grouting ball chain in the past but since I was adding polymer clay in the recesses I decided just to avoid it. On her scarf I used glass beads and freshwater pearls, niether has ever given me problems in the past. I wipe them off like any tess and then expose them further with a dry tooth brush if need be.

I don't dress up for Halloween, but we do get over 70 kids come to the door. I always make treat bags as I dislike kids who try to grab handfuls of candy or complain about what I have. I hand them a bag and comment on their costume. I usually decorate the day of Halloween. Both my daughters still like to go to parties and dress up. They are 26 and 28. Honestly though, since my kids are grown and I really don't know the new young families, I can't say I enjoy distributing the candy. I enjoyed knowing the kids who came to the door. My friends and I would call each other with the "sighting" reports of seeing each others kids.

Do you know what I'm glad about?? That the picture was shot with her right leg moving forward!! I don't want to even think what she looks like face-on, or with her right leg to the back. Aaaack!!

I wonder if she knows that her pic has gone viral? I can't imagine dressing like this for halloween let alone on a daily basis. Don't these people look in a mirror before heading out? Yikes!

I suspect a lot of these were taken for the purpose of making people like us go OMG or laugh our butts off..or say things like that's why I would never go to Wal-mart...I'm so above places like that....blah blah blah..
