Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

Thank you all SO much!! I am so sorry I have been so delinquent around here the last few months. I have peeped in every now and then, but haven't been able to spend as much time as I would like.

Since starting work last February, my life and schedule has been crazy. What started as 12/hrs per week has ballooned into much more, with often 9 hour shifts. Add courses to the mix, and a teenager, and it's amazing I have time to sleep.

The downside of working is my cooking time seems to have suffered incredibly. (I don't know how you do it Ann T). I am definately going to have to figure out a better system!

I am envious of all the wonderful food and photos you all are constantly posting to this site!

Thank you again everyone for the birthday wishes. I spent most of the weekend in courses, but my husband did take me out to Market, (a Jean George Vongerichten)restaurant. I had been dying to go there since it opened. It was wonderful, and I enjoyed every mouthfull that went into my mouth. Hubby and son also bought me some wonderful things for my kitchen. A Global chef's knife, dragonfly napkin rings, tofu cookbook, cool rock looking sink strainer, gift certificate for new shoes for work.

Your birthday wishes were the icing on the cake to a perfect birthday!

Thanks, and I really promise to be more active again, and not such a lurker!
