Comments (61)My thought is that for some reason I was supposed to lighten my load. I needed to be free of all that stuff. We had discussed at one time that it might be fun to just get rid of everything and just travel. That would be much easier to do now. So that might be an option. If they buy out the house we just walk away. They have already done a few. So we are hopeful. That's what we pray for. A good price buy out. We are very happy here and enjoying it here. Comments (51)I don't mind frying chicken once in awhile. Jody would have me frying chicken every day, if I'd do it. There is no a/c in any room but the bedroom, and it is so hot to stand over a skillet of chicken. Jody has had my truck for a few months now....and I have been home with no transportation. I really don't mind very much because I like being home and it is a good excuse not to have to go anywhere, and I have been cleaning up a storage building that flooded during the flood. I can only stay out there about an hour a day. Jody has asbestosis and trouble breathing, so I really don't want him out there. So, anyway, he has done most of the grocery shopping, which leaves a lot to be desired. He brings home what he wants me to cook. That's why I said he brought home a chicken. Comments (19)Well, I was actually a bit naughty tonight. Hubby took me out for dinner and we stopped at the local pub for a beer before heading over to the restaurant. Somehow the bartender found out it was my birthday and poured me a double shot of tequila. Needless to say between the beer and the tequila, I was slightly tipsy and definitely smiling, but I'm a terrible singer and not much of a dancer. We just went for a ride and walk on the beach. We had severe storms here last night as Cindy hit us here. It scrubbed the beach clean.
