Ricky, Thanks very much, now I can put it there, or even in an area that I like better in my front yard. I never would have guessed that they liked sun. How would you compare the marginata's need for sun and water compared to Song of India, Dracaena reflexa? I've got the latter in other spots of the yard. My online reference site says that marginata likes pH from 5.5 to 7.5. Has this been your experience? My soil is around 7, so I'll add some peat moss. Also, do u know what ideal pH range for D. reflexa? I can't find a site that lists it. So far, they've been doing great in my relatively neutral soil. Again, thanks very much. Your help is greatly appreciated. By the way, I just noticed that D. marginata is rated at 10a or above. D. reflexa is rated 10b or above. So I potentially have much more of a problem with my Song of India than the Dracaena marginata in the winter. However, almost all of the "Songs" are up against the house on a sunny west side. Can anyone in 9b report on their experience with winter hardiness of Draceana Marginata or Song of India? I'd also like to hear of bad experiences in 10a+, or good experiences in 9a. Open the drawer and hold it with both hands at the front so that your fingers can feel the bottom of the drawer. You should be able to feel a plastic tab on each side that you squeeze (both at the same time toward the outside) to release the drawer as you pull it out. That's how mine work, anyway. Good Luck.

Sorry to be late to answer, however I don't reduce the temperature using a glass pan. Of course the oven automatically reduces by 25 degrees when I use the convection setting. In this case, I would eyeball it and use a cake tester to see when it's done.

I like the first picture over the second. I just installed 12"x12" natural black slate tile with a 6"x12" border in my kitchen. I put it on a diagonal. If I were using your size tile, I would do the running bond across the room rather than the length of the room. I also used a dark grout, charcoal rather than lighter grout. I had to use a transition strip because the proper underlayment raised the level of the tile enough to require a transition strip. You may have to do the same. It's not the end of the world. It protects the tile and wood floor and provides a visual cue that the level is changing. We don't even notice it anymore.
