Scrambled eggs in 20 minutes

I you saw my post about 50 minute soft boiled eggs, then you might be interested to learn that I cooked the last two eggs from that batch (dated Sept 5) when I was making migas this morning, and I thought they would never get done! I had the heat turned all the way up on high, and generally the eggs will set in 5 minutes or less, but these just would never set and stayed runny forever. Finally I got tired of standing in front of the hot stove, and just served them very soft. They tasted fine, but the texture is not what I usually get. I didn't do the control experiment by steaming one Sept 5 egg with a Sept 9 egg, but I can tell that there was something strange about these eggs. I'm wondering if my kitchen might be passing through some vortex that prevents eggs from getting done - it had a supernatural feel, like the eggs had been cursed or something.

Any new thoughts?
