Make ahead garlic mashed potatoes

Hi: I posted a while ago about a dinner party I am having this weekend. My DH was sure he wanted roast ribeye on the spit and yorkshire puddings. I was wondering if I could do the garlic mashed potatoes the night before and reheat. : will be serving 17 people. My other sides are julienne glazed carrots and broccolini. If I do the potatoes ahead, do you think I will need to add more liquid than I normally would?
