HOW do you change a "blank tile" into the required letter?

Mombondo, when you use the blank tile, you'll be asked what letter it represents.

Mombondo.. once you spell the word, hit submit, and a little window will pop up asking you what letter you want the blank to be. If you aren't seeing the pop up window, maybe your pop up blocker is on. I have the option of turning mine off temporarily (I don't like to permanently allow most sites for my own security). If you choose temporarily allow popups from this site, you will need to choose that option again on the next game.

I use to play on-line with a group, but I lost the link. I was in Third Place too. Sniff. We had about 100 players.

Minnie, have you ever played Scrabble? This game works the same way, except you're not playing against anyone.

Tiles (seven of them, I think) should appear at the bottom of the board. When you've made a word out of some of them (or all of them, but that doesn't happen very often), click on them, one at a time, and move them to the board. When you click on a letter, it will turn green. Then click on the board. The letter should appear in that spot.

When the word is in place, click Submit Word. It will tell you how many points you earned. Click OK, and then new tiles will appear in your tray below the board, to replace the ones you used to make your word.

Some letters are only worth one point. Others have higher point values. Also, letters and words will earn more points depending on where they're placed on the board. (Note that some squares double or triple the value of a single letter, while others do the same thing for a whole word.)

Minnie, if you have a pop-up blocker you may have to give permission for the window to pop up that you put your letter in.

Its almost like you read my mind. I was thinking that I should post a link to the game that I am currently addicted to. It is Scrabble, except it is over at Pogo. You have to sign in, but it is free. I don't like to play with other people so much, you know, in case I need to use 20 - 2 letter words. :) Anyway, there, you have the option of playing with a real person or playing against the computer.

Well, this is good to know.
I play Scrabble with a friend who lives on the other side of the country! (WA) She and I play through e-mail. The site is Lexulous.....it's free. We have two games going now, and her friend in Florida is playing with us on a third game. It's super easy to set up, and fun. (I should have played this game for one, to practice with.)

Well, it has been years and years, so this was fun. I used every tile, and was almost stumped, but I scored 455. I used too many short words though. Never used the blank tiles. Did not realize that is what they were--been too long.

I played one game: Score 452, best word 40.

I'll play again sometime now that I see how it works.

I play Bookworm and always have a game going.

Yes, there is a box that shows up on top of screen asking for the letter.

If you have what I have, there is alittle message saying do you want this to come up? I click it to let it come up as script seems to be stopped from coming on.
