If you don't live in the Pittsburgh area or, I suspect, where ever that AZ team is from, you don't know how over the overhypedness is! Since the Steelers won the AFC? championship, it has been impossible to get any local news from the Pittsburgh tv stations. If a member of the team burps, or hic ups we get a 10 minute run down of it. I am sick, sick of it. And I fear that if the Steelers win it will get worse befor it gets better.

I won't be watching it....I have never liked Football.

I'm not a sports fan either. Just turn me loose with my crafting. Hubby may watch some of it.

Debby, you are so right about it being a good time to go shopping. DH and I don't like shopping at the always crowded Walmart and rarely go there, but we decided that we will go this evening. We are looking for those Mary B's Biscuits that I have read about here.

My husband and I are not big sports fans and we use to do our shopping during it because all the stores would be desserted. It is a great time to shop for cars or electronics, if you can tear the salesman away from the TV. We are going to be doing outside work today during the game. It is suppose to be warm and sunny today. Though it is funny, the guy who bought my greenhouse and is picking it up today, said he had to come over early in the morning because he was going to a Superbowl party in the afternoon.

PuppyBowl! I look forward to the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet that they show during the Superbowl. It's just puppies playing, but somehow it's really fun to watch!

I have never been a sports fan and could care less about the SB even if it has an AZ team playing. We will all be here playing on our computers and not watching the TV.

I hate football but I like going to Superbowl parties and it is usually the only game of the season that I "watch". I am going to a party at my neighbors house today so I don't have to worry about being on the road with drunkies after the game is finished. I don't care who wins.

I like it and like football too. My favorite is Australian Rules Football they used to show the games on TV a couple of years ago now that is football!!

I don't watch any sports. The guys in the house watch almost everything: basketball, baseball, soccer, curling, but not much football. They might watch it today, or they might only flip back and forth. Depends on their mood.

i'm not into it this yr and it's only a little more than an hours drive for us to tampa lol. i'm a die-hard chicago bears fan and do not follow other teams. i was really into it 2 yrs ago when chicago was in it, even travelled to chicago to party at my old places instead of using our season tickets to the superbowl in miami. it was actually cheaper to fly to chicago and stay there than drive to miami, 4 hrs, and pay more for a lesser quality hotel than i could get in chicago.

my furgirls like puppy bowl so we'll be flipping back and forth for commercials and music performances. i really feel bad for a co-worker who is a die-hard bucs fan since they tanked at the end and the superbowl is in tampa, how cool would that have been?! she'll be celebrating anyway she loves football. ~ liz

I won't be watching the game, but will have it on and ready for The Boss at half time. I read where the show should start at 'about' 8PM Eastern time.

I enjoy a good football game when there's at least one team playing that I like. Couldn't care less about the losers in this one.

I don't suppose they've scheduled any "wardrobe malfunctions" for halftime? On boring years I'd sometimes watch to see the commercials but they show them for a week after so that's no big deal. Plus they're just not as creative as years past.

I too became a fan of Australian Rules Football back in the 80s when I was traveling. Cable TV in Wisconsin had it on one of their channels all the time and I found it when I stayed in motels. They didn't have many channels. But I got hooked on it and looked forward to watching it as I traveled.

Baseball never interested me. Too slow. And golf is the epitome of stupid. Hit a ball and then chase it. At least baseball, you hit it and someone else chases it for you. My poor old dog is spinning in his ashes over that one! With him, HE was supposed to chase a ball!

The Super Bowl. I call it *The Stupid Bowl*.

I hate football. I hate the sound of it, I hate the sight of it. It's mindless. The guys in the booth who 'call' the game can be just ridiculous. A bunch of ridiculous men talking about ridiculous, dumb stuff. But, I like Australina Rules Football. In ARF the action does not stop, it just keeps going and going and going. No fumbles in ARF. If the ball is knocked from a players grasp, dropped or just lost for some reason, any player can pick it up and run with it...they just keep going. Waaay beter than what we have here. I think of ARF as *ultimate Rugby*.

But our *football*?...no.

Super Bowl doesn't mean a thing to me. I don't understand the game nor do I care to try. My husband will probably watch some of it. I'll be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet though, they are cute!

I'll be at a Superbowl party, but really only care about half-time and the commercials. My DH doesn't care for sports either, but he'll watch the game with the guys.

I'd like to see the Cardinals win since they originated out of St. Louis.

I'll only watch the half time show and some of the commercials. I just never have been able to get into football. I don't mind watching hockey or even some baseball but football puts me to sleep every time! DH will most likely flip back and forth between the game and some movie.
We once watched the Super Bowl in a bar on the coast of Barbados. Now that game I did enjoy with a tropical drink in hand and view of the sea!
I couldn't be any further from that today! You can't even see over the snow piled on either side of our driveway!

Hate the game, love the commercials.

I'll be relaxing and reading while the game is on.

I could care less about the super bowl or professional football, but my DH bought a "box" in the super bowl pool, so he has an interest in the game today.

Am I the only one who loves football???? I will enjoy the entire game! Since a Texas team is not playing, I really don't care who wins. I will be pulling for the Steelers.:o)

I don't really care. My husband is a Jets fan, they lost their last season game weeks ago and didn't make the playoffs. I used to watch just so I'd have something to say the next day at work (remember Janet Jackson's waRdrobe malfunction?) but since I'm retired, no one cares. My Mom clued me in about the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. I may watch that.

I'm a member of that club too!! No use for any kind of "ball" game. I also hate that the players make mega bucks for playing a game.

I know that it bothers a lot of people that the players make so much money, but it doesn't bother me at all. That's just the way it is.

Not much interest in this Super Bowl here either. When we were working at the store yesterday one of my co-workers was asking customers if they knew what teams were playing. Not many at all even knew who were playing...even the men could care less. The teams just aren't that exciting this year. NancyLouise

I like football, I'm half watching the game and I definitely jammed with Springsteen and the EStreet Band during halftime. This is the best halftime show in years. DH is flipping to the Puppy Bowl during commercials and it's a hoot.

I cannot stand any kind of sports! I Like the Food channel, DYI, Style, Gardening, stuff like that. Sports are way over rated, and so are jocks. I like my sweet, kind, attentive, "fluffy" husband!!! He is good at woodworking, gardening, fixing stuff...who needs sports or jocks? LOL

Actually, my wife is a bigger fan of watching football than me. We watch when the Packers are playing. The packers did not play in the super bowl this year, ergo, we made no effort to watch - did catch part of Bruce Springsteen's 1/2 time show. I understand that the Steelers made fantastic 100 yd run to their goal following an interception at the opponents goal line - what a save!

You are not alone! The only thing we cared about yesterday was the final score. DH would flip channels until he saw the score, then flip back to whatever we were watching before. The only thing I cared about was who won. Sorry Steeler's fans, I'm from OHIO, we didn't want you to win! I cut my DB's hair and got to play with a grandbaby.
