I am back

Not that I left my home this time, but I just haven't been online, cause I was sick.

Major mess out both ends.

This morning is the first morning I felt good, even so I didn't eat anything for over 24 hours. All I took was gatorade.

I did eat some boiled tators and carrots this morning, and hope to keep that down/in.

Maybe I get to read my email today... as I just didn't come to the computer except for about 10 minutes last night.

Good to be back.

Moni, glad you're back. When I had pneumonia a few months ago, that was how I felt...so sick that I couldn't keep even a sip of water down. (I think the medicine I was taking caused the nausea...because once I got some nausea meds, then I started feeling a little better.) That kind of sick is an awful feeling. Hope you feel stronger soon.

Sorry you were so sick Moni, but glad you are on the mend now. Some chicken soup might be good on your tender tummy. Take care.

Sidnee, I have some advice or at least something to keep in mind for future reference. Unless you bought the fat quarter bundles at a very good sale price, you can ~usually~ do better, price-wise, by purchasing a half yard (=2 fat quarters) or a full yard (=4 fat quarters), etc. Now I will admit that I am a sucker for fat quarters & have quite a stash of them, but sometimes (when I am "thinking") I follow my own advice, LOL, & when the urge to buy a fat quarter hits, I will often get a 1/2 yd instead. But of course sometimes a person really only wants a small amount of a particular color/print, so just buying a fat quarter is all you need or want. Looking at fat quarter bundles gives you a good idea of how to mix or pick out the colors that appeal to you, before you proceed to the bolts of fabric. What an ordeal for you all! I'm sure you were more than happy to get that behind you and get home! With all the decluttering threads I've been reading lately, I hope everyone (myself included) will read and heed. We're not filled to the gills, but we do need to sort out and get rid of an over-abundance of things so we don't put our kids through this one day. Books we won't ever read again, sentimental things our kids don't want and we don't need, etc. I'm retiring soon and the attack will begin.

Sunflowers! Those flowers are, to me, an emblem of all that is good about Garden Party. When my son died in 2012, I got not only tons of virtual sunflowers from GPers but also actual sunflowers from Janet from MD. But they are as good for happy news as for sad, and I give them to folks whenever I can. Have a birthday? a wedding? a new baby? Sunflowers are the thing.

What a bummer Moni. Was it that dang flu? Everyone around here has had a cold/cough type illness that hangs on for a couple of weeks. I'll 2nd the chicken noodle soup.
