Great game! Congrats to the Ravens and their fans. There was no time to even get up and go to the bathroom because I didn't want to miss the ads or the game. One that had me nauseated, and ready to puke, was the go daddy one with the supermodel and the fat guy kissing. Gut wrenching hearing them chomp each other. Can you say awkward? And the worst thing was they showed it again, after the game. I actually turned my face away from the tv so I couldn't see. What did you think of the commercials?

on the whole pretty bad not worth the money they spent on them and the half time show everyone is raving about was justdisgusting too bad the lights didn't go out then IMHO the game was great

Terrible ads....except of course the Clydesdale one.
Most were sophomoric. I can't understand how companies
can OK them.

I know nothing about football; don't ever watch on TV, been to 1 live game -- I was forced to go! Still don't know exactly what I saw, except a LOT of people walking around instead of watching the game. But I'm watching the Super Bowl for the commercials. And waiting for "The Voice" to come on. Madonna's on now. (I'm on a slight delay cuz I had to rewind the Tivo a few times.) Oops -- she lost her balance near a railing and bobbled (those are some high heels on her boots!). She's still good, but not such an exciting performance. A lot of her songs pieced together. Guest appearance by Cee-lo Green. Madonna gets bonus points for looking great -- she's 50, no? Favorite commercials so far, people? The VW commercial (which included part of last year's) -- that's the one Minnie talks about (the dog doing exercises). and The one for the new Chevy Sonic. and Clint Eastwood for Dodge/Jeep/etc., an installment of the "Imported from Detroit" ad from last year.

I'm another one who loved the Clydesdale and Dalmation one. Didnt like that talking baby at all, he gave me the creeps. I liked part of the Pepsi Max commercial, but thought they could have omitted some of the folks nodding off, there were too many of them. And then I did like that ballons chasing the Coke balloon and Charlie Brown getting it. That was funny.

We'll be watching because DH loves football, and I enjoy sports too, although college football is more my thing. I enjoy the strategies, the athleticism, and the competition. We were hoping for another team to make it to the finals but will probably root for Seattle. Although I have a favorite player or two on the Pats. I put on a big pot of chile in the slow cooker this morning, will make nachos and some potato skins and call it done. It's dreary, rainy here and about to get cold again. I like the commercials and will watch the half-time show too, but am not a huge Katy Perry fan. Aerosmith and Tom Petty were a couple of my favorites a few years back. Tibbrix, I too remember the days when we dressed up to go to college games. At UA I recall putting on heels of all things to go to games and the guys wore jackets & ties. Now it's a lot more casual when we do go and we wear our team colors, but the whole ridiculous thing with crazy garb is beyond me.

For the most part, aweful. I really liked the Farmer ad with Paul Harvey's voice - over 2 minutes ling!

After the Clydesdale commercial, I loved the Doritos "goat for sale". It was hilarious. I loved when the goat screamed.

We loved the Taco bell one~~~it was so funny. The Dodge one with the farmers was so touching~~~I liked it a lot, they just need to show it not as an ad~~~just as respect for Farmers.

Yes that one from Dodge to the farmers was great.
I loved that Clysdale one.
The Skechers and Dorito with the goat were good.
I hated the kissing one it had a lot of controversy before it came out too.
OH yes the old folks night out at Taco Bell was funny.
OH OH I absolutely loved the one for Doritoes with the daddy and his buddies all dressed up and having the tea party with the little girl and wife walks in and says is that my wedding dress? He said might be! OH I did LOL

as usually the talking baby etrade ad was good.
The Hyundai one with the car stuck behind all sorts of crazy vehicles was good.

Super Bowl 2013 ads

I was not at all impressed with the half time show, I would much prefer something with some entertainment value. They are saying in some places I have seen that the black out was caused by the Beyonce show.
Since it was in New Orleans it would have made sense to go with what Louisiana is all about, Zydeco music, the Nevile brothers, Dr. John, the Jazz band. A real entertaining show!
Everyone has already seen and heard Beyonce show up in her bathing suit and sing more times than I care to count. And half the time she isn't really singing that is NOT entertaining to me sorry.
