I'm kind of slow so it's hard to follow your explanation about the beadboard so I'll just tell you what I did with beadboard and moldings that are cream or white.

We have white baseboards and moldings throughout the house. Straight white, no fancy names. Then on the beadboards in all the rooms it is also straight white. I know we're boring.

As you know my kitchen cabinets are a cream, however, the doors and molding on the laundry and pantry doors is white as is the baseboard. If I had beadboard in my kitchen I would have it white to match the baseboards and other door moldings. I think beadboard should be considered "trim" and should match the baseboards, door casings, etc. I hope I've been a help even though I took the long road to explain it.

I have used "Creamy" in two of my bedrooms.

It's a warm white, and in my situation, has no yellow undertone. I'm very happy with it.

Get a sample quart and try it.

Thanks Lynn. The granite is Galo Ornamental and the paint is BM Grecian Green, The wall you see to the left that jots out from the kitchen is BM Rich Cream.

I'm glad Creamy doesn't have any undertones. Looking on the swatch it kind of looked yellow to me, but on the SW website, I colored a room with it and it was just...creamy. lol.

Bru, the only beadboard in the kitchen will be at the ends of the cabinets, and behind the cabinet which faces the dining room. So the beadboard will be touching the rest of the cabinets.

I think I'll do it all one color. Less of a headache. :)

oak, to see the true color of a paint, make sure you paint a large poster board. Then take it to all lights, i.e., southern exposure, under the light bulbs you'll using, day and night.

The way I found if a paint I like had undertones was to sit in my office, which is a south facing window with bright sun. I would turn sideways in my chair and hold the sample to the light on an angle and could always get the "true" color of the paint that way. I also looked at the color under the lighting of the Reveal bulbs I speak of. Don't make your decision by what you see on the monitor because that is the least accurate way. However, having the paint web site is nice because you can put other colors next to the color you are considering and it will help you to see if it has undertones. That's what I did on the BM and SW web pages. However, through all that anquish, most of my decisions were simply made at the last minute when DH announced one day "the painter is coming next week." LOL, I always work best under pressure!!

My Rich Cream that I love so much came from my neighbor who I was trying to help chose paint for her rooms that my DH was remodeling for her. She happened to go to BM one day and came home with a sample, I tried it and I was hooked. So you really never know where or when you'll find that right color.
